Over a couple of days I swung past Ayala Terraces and had some drinks at Social.

First night I arrived about 7 pm. A couple of tables of what I would suggest are freelancers or dancers that had that friendly glance around the room. Lots of regular bar goers in groups. I had someone lined up for 8 pm so I didn't follow-up any of the glances. In contrast to the 'glancers' are the death stares. I didn't need to return these looks they were very clearly ladyboys, group of 3 sitting near Brique. Just way to obvious. It's an interesting 'tell' how a real girl can give a flirting glance but a LB has to over compensate. Lesson for Ph newbies.

Second visit I got there about 9, this time wanting to find the glancers but they had moved on. Had a beer and left.

I also found the waitresses at Social reasonably flirty and gave a nice positive vibe. But never shit in your own nest.

I would recommend Social for an early evening pickup place if nothing else on the agenda.

Not entirely sure if it'll be offered given that it'll be a pay per view event.

The quality of mango / Viking was never worth 5 k barfine, in fact not even worth half of that amount. When Viking first reopened during travel bans those girls would literally do anything for 300 tip (read my previous posts for details) and some of them worked freelancers online or behind national bookstore for 1 k. I actually enjoyed Viking / Mango during travel bans. But now that all tourists are back so I will never set a foot there again.

Does anybody have info on club wild girls in Lapu Lapu? I believe it's bikini bar I think?

I was in there Friday night just before midnight. Maybe 4-5 customers and 15 or so girls. Didn't see any cute girls. Confirmed 5000 for barfine. Philly's had a couple cute freelancers and a couple cute hostesses. Got phone number of hostess but didn't feel like waiting until she got off work at 3 am to hook up. She was ok but nothing on the cute girls you see in Pattaya bars.

Paying 5000 Barfine plus 1000 on drinks before and 1000 as tip. They must be looking gorgeous!

(In reality those are just off the shelf single mothers, not wanted anymore by the local guys and now doing her job).

I visited Cebu City around five years ago, and I had an amazing time. I enjoyed the great body-to-body massage given in a private room by a 19 years sweet stunner. The shop name was maasage4 you near Park Mall. I found great freelancer in Mango square, too. Now I am going to visit Cebu city soon, just for two days, and I don't have any idea, about the current situation. People are saying, that you should invest time in preparation, and using Apps, but there are tons. Which one works good in Cebu city? What would you suggest if you have just two days?

I have to agree with WR here. I went to Cebu in August and had a complete whale of time. It was not my first visit to Cebu, but it was after a long time and exclusively for mongering. My previous trips were really corporate getaways.

The key is preparation. Get to know the lay of the land, the hot spots in town, pricing, custom & practice, places to eat, places to just chill out, short day trips from the city, etc. Its all out there on the internet. PM a couple of veterans like WR here, who will happily help, if you ask intelligent questions that reflect your preparation.

And then, you will have the same whale of time I did.

I would completely agree here. I visited Cebu recently for a short trip (4 nights) and had not done any pre work as in pipelining through any social media. All I could manage to have a good time was with girls from the bars. Drinks and BF all were expensive and you don't have a choice there but to pay. Last minute social media didn't materialise and neither was the quality available in the Discos during my visit enticing. I did visit both clubs in mango mall as well as Liv and octagon, waste of time and money this time.

Daytime was pretty much nothing to do except finish work and in spare time become a mall rat or go eating. Didn't have enough time to do any day trips. Luckily for me I was traveling to AC from here hence had good times there. But overall Cebu is a very different scene and one cannot visit it like a typical monger destination. Girls are sweet, service quality is good or maybe I was lucky.

I would be visiting in near future and would invest time in social media beforehand to make my trip better comparatively.

And why come to Cebu for a theatre? Have you been to those in Manila? And what about AC? Bigger LOL.

Lots to do in Cebu if you know what to do, where to go, have patience etc.

Am not into bars (like KG) and rarely visit unless some suggests we go an look, no need pick up as have plenty friends. Nice to sit in my 'office' and watch the world go by at times and is a lovely place IMHO. If you prefer Manila or AC good for you but is not for everyone.

Got it; I was thinking of something within the 2-3 week range, but after reading your post and listening to some other wisdom, I think I'll give it a trial run for a week and sus it out from there. Between the Mango Square clubs, does one tend to have hotter / a higher number of higher-quality girls in / around the VIP area?

All sorts but watch out in the Mango area for the street kids (as you would likely elsewhere also) as they can crowd you and have great skills in picking your pockets (same in Colon area).

Icon is popular and I know some of the dancers and shagged one of the nicest ones so PM me if that is your idea of fun but I know some nice ones and they are all sorts, some super kinky (aka Vampiress) some very hot but straight and others in between but bi and love anal. But this has taken time, am patient and a nice guy etc.

Koreans are everywhere not just Cebu as are the Chinese I just ignore them even if I go t a KTV (rarely I admit).

I prefer Cebu to Burgos also but again some of friends from the board would disagree with that statement. Just depends on what you like / want / are used to.

If you visit Cebu make sure is for a week or so and that way you will benefit. FI a flying 1-2 day visit it maybe be tougher.

I lived there a few years ago. The place is a waste. There isn't even a performance theater there. There is nothing. Why incur the expense of coming from Manila? Waste of money.

Hey all, noticed the last post referencing Liv or J-Ave is from about this time last year; are those spots and the surrounding club scene enticing enough to warrant a visit from Manila?

I'm aware there are other night options, but this approach is the type I prefer, knowing the years left where I won't be woefully out of place at these types of places are dwindling. It sounds like one might have to get into a series of bottle wars to wrest attention away from the Koreans in VIP, but I'm okay with that. I'm more concerned with the quantity and quality of women at these spots Thurs-Saturday, and 5 k+ barfines are no problem at all if it's for the right one.

Sorry for getting wordy: is the Mango Square nightlife scene a welcome enough departure from it's Makati counterpart to warrant a visit? Nightclubs are traditionally a bit more fickle as far as where the crowd goes, so RTFF past 2017 only helps me so much. And if you're in Cebu over the Fall, always happy to buy the first round (unless you're doing some wild sketch-ass illegal shit in which case sorry no beers)!

I don't go to performance theatre so no loss.

It all depends on what you are looking for. Never really spent time there so cannot comment but it will be my next stop off after Manila. I'll take a Airbnb for a month then decide if I want to stay longer.

Since I am not into bars and clubs and that sort of activities, I just may find what I am looking for there and decide to stay longer.
