What I said is my experience. If you like the dump of Pune and have personal experience there, go there, or to the dumpier places of the world. If Cebu is what you call luxury, go settle there.

Cebu is no luxury place, but living in Cebu is relaxing, w basic food, entertainment, shopping and girls.

Too bad your experience is a dump for whatever reasons.

Anyway since you are so disgusted w Cebu, no need to return as there are many other places to visit.

Being an Indian? The problem is Indian have a bad reputation for a number of reasons and the girls hear the chismis so p the price or refuse outright of find reasons not to turn up (as they can't outright say no).

I went to Cebu and it was mostly an all-round misadventure. Therefore, this report has absolutely nothing to do with sex.

First I checked into the Shangri-la there. It was far from the city but I wanted to get some relaxation on a resort in. It occurred to me that that was probably not an easy place for a FL to walk in considering I went for their exclusive wing club-level floor room. I don't know if that wouldn't have been an issue, but I didn't really try.

Internet was a big deal for me since I had to work. Internet at Shangrila was pretty decent. I had either Shangrila's wifi or mobile internet working even on their beach (yes, I had to really be available, even at the beach).

Shangri-la was a nice hotel. Club-floor had free drinks, appetizers, etc. I liked it. They had a pretty decent fitness center.

I paid for the pinalove site. Regrettably, I didn't get much traction there probably because I'm Indian. It's not a hurdle that I could cross eventually. I had communicated with two girls. One girl flaked and said it's too late for her to come and I would fall asleep (while I was asking her to come). Then she wanted to come next day, but I took a tour out. I talked with another girl and it's hard to discern what she was after (being very insistent that she wasn't after money) but she wouldn't go near any talk of sex.

I then moved to the city. I went to the Quest hotel since it had decent reviews and reports of the best internet (including routers in every room). Quest hotel was mostly bad. They charged me twice and kept insisting it wouldn't be charged. When I showed them two charges on my card, I had to keep visiting them to find the people responsible. It took multiple days to fix. The Internet was not really good. Their fitness center was just some dumbells and two ancient treadmills. There was noise at night and neighbors were playing loud movies by casting. It showed on my phone so I stopped the casting over and over till they gave up and went to bed..

Few observations.

Shangri La is way out of town and unless you target girls in Mactan you will have limited chance of getting girls from the city as takes way too long to get there.

Internet speeds are slow in the country and it sucks so get used to it. It is well reported on in the forum so a RTFF would have told which is the better operator.

Am surprised by the comment in Quest as I have stayed there before and it was OK. But your experience is more recent. However wherever you go it is slow unless you perhaps pay for a pocket WiFi with higher speeds, but you will pay as the country has one of the most expensive internet services in Asia.

Lots girls Ayala if you are patient, watch and have a game. They not be to your choice (definitely not mine) but they are there and some will approach you if sitting outside at Bos or Starbucks.

Of course Shangri La is nice it a 5 star hotel and you paid top dollar. You would have more fun in Red Planet IMHO and paid far less IMHO! I have been there but only to eat etc never to stay. Why pay crazy prices and be so far from the action.

Money talks as you found out but I never am a cheap charlie and offer PHP 1500! WTF! You are paying top dollar at the Shangri La and in a very classy room yet you offer a cheap talent fee! The girls see Shangri La and then say this man has cash so the price rises. Simple fact in the pinay's brain! You pay a decent amount as we are talking of say $100 max when you pay way more then that for the room, airfare etc.

I have stayed at the Quest several times. I like their pool and the staff are very good in my experience. Last vist was in October, the Bad for me is their internet service. Only two speeds, slow and stop. A no go for me. I will not stay there again. Now I go with an Airbnb, usually Solinea. I prefer to be near the mall because I really don't like phili food and the mall gives me many good international food choices. I like Cebu because I have several regular girls there to see and the dating site regular girls are almost 100% going to be GFE.

Got laundry done at Wash 'and dry near Quest hotel. I showed the lady two shirts and told her that it shouldn't be dried on high heat. She was kind enough to say that she would do those shirts separately.

I went and got a massage at "Massage and Spa" on Mango and Juana Osmena st. This is next to a Caltex gas station. I really just wanted a regular massage, but lady upfront convinced me to do a full body scrub. I figured okay, maybe I'll get something extra out of it. So, I opt for the full deal. This girl comes in and asks me to take everything off. I left my underwear but she came and said, everything off. Now, she started scrubbing my body with some coarse mixture and did like every inch of the body, everywhere but was careful not to do anything sexual at all. Of the mixture, she tells me these are ground coffee beans. Huh, coffee beans, I wonder and shrug it off. At the very end, she offers me an handjob by pointing at my penis. I took her offer and she gave me an okay handjob.

Okay, those coffee beans hurt like hell an hour after. My entire body broke into a rash. It was all red and itched like crazy. It remained that way and it pretty much put to rest any thoughts of girls and sex. Not that I would have wanted to at that point, but even if I did, any girl looking at it would have run away. Then I had to contend with what do I tell a doctor. "In Asia. No, she said it was just coffee beans!" It took weeks and weeks for my body to heal.

I took a tour and Philippines mobile internet was nonexistent as promised and got stuck in the most horrible traffic jam for hours.

I offered 1500 to a girl who wanted 7 k, she laughed in whatsapp and deleted all her photos and sent me a message saying goodbye. However, then I tried the method Goeffering offered to me as help on the board: I took photos of 3 k or 4 k and the quest key and sent it to her (more than what I had offered earlier). Her tune then changed and she wanted to come over.

However, by that time, my coffee beans experience had rendered me inactive and I passed. Didn't try the bars on Mango and got the hell out of the Philippines.

Random observations and experiences.

The Mango gogo bars are still up / running. On Maxilom, about 1 km east from Mango Square (Robinson's Fuente). Called the 'Vikings' group of bars because one of them is called Vikings (Eric the Red bar is next door). About 6 gogo bars on the south side of Maxilom Ave, across the street from the INC church. Across the street from those gogo bars and next to the church are several more gogo bars (more expensive I believe). Plenty of GRO's to choose from.

Go bust some buns and report back.

Last time I was there was a few months ago. Mango not as good as it was years ago, but still many freelancers there. I do not go to clubs as they are a ripoff IMO. What has changed is that there are several sleezy pimps representing the girls now at Mango. I don't deal with pimps or middlemen. Prices are high for what you get and gone are the casual part time normal girls who occasionally spread their legs for money. Mostly hard core and semi hard core pros now. Lots of fuglies, ladyboys. There are several other centers of action at the street level. I will direct those to my blog for that info. Traffic in Cebu has gotten alot worse. People are less friendly. Normal girls are more defensive. Cannot speak to online vetting as this is often too much trouble to deal with IMO.

I have used it numerous times, never had any hassles or problems. ID has never been asked for.
