Hey Folks,

I've been considering a trip to SEA in mid / late September and was looking to be in Cebu. Mostly, I'm longing for a short vacation, but seeing as I was going to be in SEA, I figured I could rope in a bit of fun with girls. A buddy of mine suggested Cebu to spend some time and I figured why not. Although, I'm leaning towards going to Yogyakarta first to see the temples there.

So, I always RTFF as much as I can. The Cebu forum is a bit light though in volume of past posts and they get 5+ years old real quick. By reading the forum, I've gathered names of bunch of hotels (Quest / Mandarin, seemingly all GF), bars (seemingly not good), the mall, restaurants, etc. The girl part is a bit lacking, haha.

Then, I read that you got to do the social networking thing. Huh, okay. I registered for DIA and promptly got banned in an hour for who knows what. I can't figure it out. Somebody sent me a message, which I wasn't even able to see but I think that triggered it. I wasn't able to register with any other number, so DIA was out.

I joined PL and I actually paid for a month, since I figured I was definitely going. Kinda pricey for just a month, but oh well. Got some interests and a couple of numbers sent to me. I figured I could try to work on it. The forum said cultivate contacts, so I'm watering the damn seeds and cultivating.

Then, I see these last couple of posts about Cebu not being for newbies, go to AC, etc. , and Bang's experience listed below. Ahh, I share that particular unfavored heritage, so that's a cross I bear. And that affects the social networking thing as well.

FWIW, I've been to Phuket and Pattaya and was never stopped at any bar and my experience / behavior tends to be a bit different. (I wanted to write a post about it but I find that it always gets argumentative, so I didn't).

Now, I'm wondering if I should do Cebu or just call it off. I really like the bars (Phuket style) where I can drink some and hang out with girls in skimpy clothes (LDs cost money but I do it if I'm going to have a good time). I understand AC is where that is found, but I also like it to be a tropical paradise with 4* hotels. Great buffets, good wifi (a man's got to work to fund these trips), etc. So, AC doesn't quite fit the bill of vacation spot, which Cebu is.

I've read your recent feedback below, but if anybody has any other tips / advice / cautions / discussion, I would appreciate that. I tend not to PM uninvited. I do always follow up and post my research / reports (it's just that I do these trips once every couple of years).

Truly, it gets so old answering the same question over and over. So, if anybody even read this wall of text: thank you!

The more times you missed out, the more your confidence was affected and your level of desperation just increased. The girls in the lower echelons where we mix can pick a mongers fear and desperation a mile a way. Refer to Point 1 above. Girls do not like men who are not confident.

This is so true. If I or anyone I know is in a death spiral, my recommendation is to put pride aside and fuck something, anything just to get rid of the sense of desperation that everyone can notice. Once you have regained confidence, then you can refocus upon your priority girls.

Also, a wingman, preferably one who has been there before and knows his way around, can help considerably with a first trip to a city.

Bang, don't let one so so trip deter you because once you learn the lay of the land, cebu can be a great place to have some fun. I can name numerous cities where my second and subsequent visits were much better than my first.

If your next trip is to include diving try Alona, Moalboal or Malapascua towards the end of your stay. Only a couple of hours away and they can be used as a carrot to attract the right girl (s) to join you.

Really nice reports there Bang. I'm sorry to hear that your mongering trip didn't meet your expectations. I'm assuming that was your first time to the Philippines. It takes many visits to a country before you can get the hang of it. You may have made a few basic newbie mistakes as well. I'm sure you will learn from them and get better next time.

1. Being your first trip, you should have just stuck to AC or LA Cafe. That would have got your confidence up. Quasimodo can walk into an AC bar and pick up three spinners for the whole night there. Anyone of any colour, dick size, smell or looks can get a root in AC. I've never been to Medellin, but if I did, I would just stay at the Mansion and dine in on Colombian ass. The online game in Colombia is on Facebook, but as a newbie (albeit with 35 years' of mongering experience), I wouldn't even think about it. Similarly, in Germany, a newbie would just walk into an FKK. I've been to the Philippines seven times, but only last year did I ever try online action, and that was with only WeChat and Tinder. Previously, I only ever went to bars. It takes a long time to understand the culture, the girls' motivation, the games they play etc. I wouldn't recommend dating sites for newbies because those Pinays will eat you alive. As a newbie, always take the easiest option until you understand how the game is played.

2. Cebu for a newbie can be daunting as it is geographically dispersed. Do you stay on Mactan or do you stay in Cebu? Just where do you start? You nearly got there at the Mango bars. The BF system is confusing. I think its 4 LDs, plus 5,000 PHP all inclusive for LT. You should have just paid the money and banged a hooker on successive nights!

You can't control their thinking, but what you can control is how you portray yourself. You can come across as a confident, erudite, urbane man. Chicks love style and confidence. Walk into a bar or hotel like you own the joint. Wear expensive clothes and nice shoes to differentiate yourself from your countrymen. Believe me, in Asian countries, how you dress, how you smell and how you walk all get noticed. Leave the shorts and the Bier Bintang singlets to the fat, uneducated Aussies. You are better than them. FWIW, in Asia I only ever wear shorts at the pool or gym.

I once even asked the room service lady for help. She brought another lady for me, unfortunately she was running on her period.

This day is planned for scuba with whale shark and diving. Started very early 3 am for Oslab. Reached there by 6 am. And finished first diving with whale shark by 7:30 am.

Wow. First Nice experience in the trip.

Afternoon scheduled for another diving at sumilon island. This is also good experience with nice corals and marine.

Started for Cebu by 2 pm and on the way stopped for tumalog waterfall. Reached at Cebu by 5 pm.

Now I got the call from first taxi guy that girl is ready. I thought of trying last time. Finally girl delivered to hotel. Average girl. Fucked her 2 times. At least something scored in this trip.

Sleep for some time and lead to airport for return.

I was surprised that airport collect 850 pesos for airport fee. Airport doesn't have good restaurants and facilities. Not sure why they are collecting money.

Anyway returned back safely without much score but good diving experience.

Hi going to Cebu soon for the first time

I was only passing thru cebu and was my first time.

Ayala mall. Reports say it's a good pick up place especially nears bos coffee. The few I saw were rough.

Mango area. A few gogo bars but I didn't venture in. Marshalls Irish bar and the sports bar above (a few girls in here), there are sw outside here and along the road, nothing special but ok, many LBs. Down osmena street there are some bars, one expat bar which is ok and there are a few sw along this street.

When I went to the ferry there seems to be loads of bars overlooking the port but this was daytime and all closed so I don't know about them.

It's a pleasant enough town but for me not that great for action.

Like every where, a lot of Cebu girls have moved online. Gogo standard to SeekingArrangement and Tinder, Beerbar standard to Pinalove, FilippinoCupid et al.

Still lots of street walking FLs and a couple of Beerbars along Mango Qve worth a look though. As Bang found below, the Gogos are fine for a drink and a perv but prices, late release times for the girls and general fuck around attitude mean they can be skipped as pick up options.

ICON is a higher end freelance option / nightclub but the girls will charge accordingly.

There are still plenty of good times and fun girls to be found in Cebu.

Reached hotel, security is in deep sleep. Where is reception?? Security woke up and asked to go on 3rd floor. Anyway checked in the room. Slept.

Woke up in morning around 8 am. Had breakfast in hotel cafeteria.
