Sinulog for me is a time to avoid Cebu. Hotel prices rise three / four fold and even the most terrible rat infested place asks lots for a room.

I been to Cebu and live there but I am never around for Sinulog.

You can also go to J Mall in Mandaue and there you will find on the top floor a BI office where a lots of foreigners go to get another month or more on their visa status. Go early, have the form filled in with a passport picture and that speeds the process. I would park the car around 815 am and get there very early so I was one of the first in the queue.

There are BI offices also in many provinces. The Visa Extension form is correct, and you can also grab one in any BI office and fill it out right there. Using the initial 2-month pre-applied Visa has an advantage: your first visa extension can be longer than 29 days (as in 59 days). If you get an initial 30-day VOA (Visa on Arrival), your first extension will be for just 29 days (59 days or longer on later extensions). Besides having a copy of your passport photo-page, also have a copy of your most recent inbound-stamp page.

After 59 days in-country, you may be required to apply for an Alien Resident (ACR) eye-dee card, whether you want it or not. It takes a month to arrive (must pick it up in the same office, if you even desire it), and its good for a year. It looks a bit like your driver's license. Cost is about 4 k, and you will need to provide 2 new pics of yourself.

Have never applied for a 6-month stay, so can't say the cost. Cost for the 59-day extenstions are: 1-hour passport pickup service is about 4 k, and they offer a 3-day pickup service for 3 k (prices were 1 k cheaper until my renewal this past June).

Sinulog. I airbnb'd looking for a place both at Horizon's Residence (along the parade route) and also the Ayala area, including at places I've stayed in the past, and there is no difference in prices at the time of Sinulog next January than there is now (or my previous stays). I got a studio unit (have stayed in that Residence before) for 2 weeks (one week before and after Sinulog) at under $25/ night, 3 blocks from Ayala. Traffic sucks (even worse) during a festival, so I plan to walk everywhere (walking keeps the juices flowing for the next pinay).

Pic below previously posted in the PG is in that studio unit. She loved holding hands and walking with me over to Ayala to grocery shop in the Metro, then cook for me, f*ck me, then wash the dishes and clean the place while I napped after the bonk. Had trouble getting her to go home when girl #2 was on her way over. The things you have to put up with from the Cebuanas: Prepare yourself!

So before I go I need to apply for a visa waiver in Canada which will give me 2 months stay (from the first day I arrive). Then before the 2 months expire I can extend it to 6 months stay when I am in Philippines, right?

You know how much it is for 6 months stay?

I guess you can pre apply and pre pay for 2 months but I have always arrived, got a 30 day free VOA, then a few days before that expired got a 29 day extension etc in country. Any additional extensions require a ACR (Alien Certificate of Registration) but the process is similar.

Allow about 3000 p for each extension plus the ACR and check where the extensions can be done near you. The regional offices are much faster and less stress. I'm normally in and out of Battangas in 15 minutes.

This is so true. If I or anyone I know is in a death spiral, my recommendation is to put pride aside and fuck something, anything just to get rid of the sense of desperation that everyone can notice. Once you have regained confidence, then you can refocus upon your priority girls.

Also, a wingman, preferably one who has been there before and knows his way around, can help considerably with a first trip to a city.

Bang, don't let one so so trip deter you because once you learn the lay of the land, cebu can be a great place to have some fun. I can name numerous cities where my second and subsequent visits were much better than my first.

If your next trip is to include diving try Alona, Moalboal or Malapascua towards the end of your stay. Only a couple of hours away and they can be used as a carrot to attract the right girl (s) to join you.

I agree with Goferring, if you are in a bad streak try to get rid off ASAP don't make it last longer than 1-2 days max, fuck the easy girl in your list to get your confidence back, sometimes even fucking the girl you fucked before it helps.

It happened to me once, I got 2 girls who cancel on me (both were shy and didn't want to meet alone) and another one we go out but she didn't want to come to my condo, she made up a lie that she was molested when she was young, I didn't believe her because she wasn't even molested just touch in the wrong way and she had trauma because of that. She wanted to go out again the next day but I took her out from my list right away. I felt I wasn't confident enough and I was in a bad mood because of the 2 girls that cancel me earlier (the shy ones), so that's why I couldn't get her to come to my condo.

So the next day early in the morning I call an old friend I had fucked in my last trip the year before, she works in Ayala Mall and luckily it was her dayoff, so she came straight to my condo we had sex and I got all the confidence I needed, so that night on my next date from my top list I was able to make her come to my condo, and I was back in track.

I learned the hard way that you may have bad days once a while, but you should get rid off it ASAP, at the beginning when I was a newbie on my first 2 trips I had 2 bad streaks that lasted 2-3 days each, the third one and last one I had it lasted only 1 day, because I fucked the girl from a past trip and she gave me the confidence I need it.

Just an advise, if you have girls who cancel on you because they are shy, just ignore them next time they chat you, go on the next girls from your list. Eventually some of those girls who were shy will be desperate to see you, and then is up to you if you want to see them again. You can make her feel guilty for canceling you, and they will be easier to bring back to your condo if you decide to see them.

What I don't get is all the masses of women saying they want marriage, serious LTR, etc. Are they just lying and are open to p2 p? Or they're just something else in their own minds. And what's the meeting protocol? Meet at mall first or call them directly to room?

From my personal experience, don't worry about it. Most women in dating sites who said they are looking for serious relationship, marriage, soulmate, or whatever, they will have sex with you on the first date (most of them not all of them BTW), it all depends on you to make her comfortable, look natural and put her in the mood.

Always meet her in a place close to your hotel / condo, unless she invites herself to your place, in that case she is ready for sex, just make sure to ask her if she is a ladyboy or an escort. Those two questions I always ask them before I meet them, it saves me wasting time with the wrong woman, most girls are honest and will tell you the true and they don't get offended either, just say it in a nice way, because you were fool before or something like that, if you have doubts she is a ladyboy just ask her for a videocall, you should videocall them anyways before your meeting as much as you can, it helps if she sees you even if is just a 5 minutes talk like I usually do.

Of course if you are looking for freelancers then don't ask them if they are escorts, or maybe you should ask them in advance, not idea which one works better. In my case since I don't like freelancers in Philippines I have to ask them, to make sure they are not gold-diggers. You need to make sure to tell them that you don't pay for sex, that you are just looking to have a date and see where it leads, by date I mean meeting in a coffee shop or mall, then getting to know eachother for afew hours, and then straight to your condo / hotel, avoid spending too much money otherwise she will see you as a provider and she might be tempted to take advantage of you.

I may be wrong but I think that if she cannot get to my profile because she is blocked she cannot hit the report button. I am on FC and the language there on both sides of the conversation has sometimes been pretty raunchy, I was kicked off DIA twice for way less.

PL won't ban you for language. They will ban you if you get too many complaints. I've never been banned and I've asked far more brutal questions than those listed.

I was in particular wondering about girls not checking in together. Rather them coming in for a short time visit (day or night time).

It also depends what you and the girl (s) want to do in the resort.

Many will turn a blind eye to what happens for one night behind closed doors. Frolicking around the pool for a week with Mrs Smith and the kidlets nearby would be a totally different prospect.

Better to keep your profile ready and fresh. A "new" profile usually gets more hits than a face that has been online for weeks and hasn't chatted to the particular girl.
