I have some time for a side trip to the PI in early December. As usual, it'll be a hit and run. Five to seven days on the ground. Get a SIM at the airport and go to work.


I've done the Hotel Elizabeth the last few times, but I'd like to change things up. I'm not going to be hitting the bars or hauling in street walkers. Online only unless I hit the pickup lottery. Being close to the Ayala mall is convenient for the girls. I recall the Golden Prince, Parklane and Red Planet. There are also some studio apartments listed, but I don't know how girl-friendly they are. Any recent knowledge welcome.

Cebu City was rather depressing last time with all the unrepaired typhoon damage. That was right after they reopened the country. I injected what I could into the, um, economy. But it was clearly going to take years. I was thinking of just staying in Manila to save some time, but there is a remote chance I'll be seen by someone who knows me. Especially in the Greenbelt. Ermita is probably okay.

Normally I go to Thailand for my winter vacation, but I wanted to try something new this year.

So, I'm going to Cebu in a few weeks. The trip was booked almost a year ago before the price hikes.

I like doing research on the places I go.

Cebu isn't very easy, period.
Coffee is much more expensive here than neighboring Asian countries for some reason. Probably due to the higher taxes and strong govt bureaucracy.

The Social had the best food. Pricey, but good size portions on the brisket and burger was decent size. I found just about any other restaurant was poor quality for the price. Tiktilouk chicken was a protein staple for me but I might have gotten a small food poisoning bug there. Their hygiene didn't seem to par.


Philippines is for the retired expat / digital nomad who has months / years to spend hunting with boots on ground.

The plus side of the Philippines over the rest of Asia is the women seem far easier to bed, speak English, and have better taste in music. The trade off is utterly horrendous food, way too many fatties, and worse hotels for the same money (high tax society will do that), and generally poor infrastructure and rife poverty. It's like Cambodia but with some nice malls and English (but uglier women).

Food? - The Social is an over priced McDonalds and there is way better restos around if you look and search (in Banilad, Crossroads for example).

Yes always better if live in the city (any city) for a period of time and not be a 3-5 day pussy warrior.

Infrastructure. Cebu has got more crowded and the roads can't cope but I can say the same of London, parts of USA etc.

Finally made a trip to PI. Came straight to Cebu. For years, I've heard endless accounts from western expats 'how beautiful the women are in the Philippines'. This is by far the most overly exaggerated LIE I've ever heard regarding the quality of women in a certain geographical location.

I've been here three days and so far, I can count on one hand how many women I've seen that are an 8 or higher. I can count on two hands how many are a 7. PI is literally the HIGHEST ratio of unattractive women anywhere I've been. I've been to over 20 countries and nothing comes close. The vast majority of women here are egg-shaped, or fast approaching it. Thin girls are definitely the minority, and paired with a pretty face, certainly a rarity. The Filipino diet is horrendous: fried foods and rice, fried foods and rice, with all kinds of sugar snacks in-between.

The ONLY hot girls I've seen were already attached to their western ATM. The vast majority of expats / mongers here aren't any better; usually ridiculously out of shape, fat, man-boobs, and basically low standards in life across the board. Even Thailand and Vietnam have much more 'quality men' for girls to choose from so their standards have gone up in the past few years. Not in PI. 100 million population and far more impoverished means the ONLY food they can afford is the mass-produced poison that is wrecking their bodies. Even Cambodia (Siem Reap & PP) have MUCH hotter women with some killer curves (hour glass, not balloon. Go to the gyms for the best ones).

Talking about this subject with an old army friend (we both were stationed in Korea and went to Filipina juicy bars), we came to the conclusion that almost ALL hot Filipinas will find their ticket out of poverty, and OUT of the Philippines in general, one way or another; by some Korean scout sending the hottest ones out to neighboring Asian countries, or by finding a western simp who will take her back to his home country where she will most likely upgrade after learning the divorce laws favor her financially. Few hotties stay in the PI it seems..

There are many real beauties in the Philippines as I've had many, could have been where you were. One thing for sure they are much better than the dogs we have here.

If one is taking a long flight for a sex vacation and has limited time, I wouldn't recommend Philippines. Vietnam and Thailand have MUCH hotter women, more pussy everywhere, cheaper price, and one can literally window shop and point and shoot. Philippines and online game run higher risks of catfishing, heavy filtered pics, and hidden damage from babies. Plus, the time and work it takes to play the online game is annoying.

Cebu is the wrong choice if it's your first visit on limited time IMO. It requires knowing Philippines quite well and how things work.

You're right with the Viagra. You need to go to a different pharmacy. Ask for sildenafil. It should be much cheaper than that. I've had a box of 4 for around 1200.

Very wise to avoid the underage scam. It's the 'ber' months which means authorities and other Filipinos are looking for any way to make cash for Christmas.

I'd suggest trying the clubs if you're looking for some fast hits. It's going to be hard to get the non-pros on your limited time now.

Best suggestion for short first time trips is Manila. Plenty of nightlife, bars, ktvs, freelancers online.

If you're into egg-shaped women with ugly faces, you'll love it here. If you're used to seeing hot Filipinas in porn, Asian juicy bars, or imported to the US / west, don't expect to find that in abundance here. The hottest girls get exported or snatched up by a western ATM and what's left are the rolley-polley dogs.

With that said, I've matched with plenty of hot girls here on Tinder, but they're usually out in the boonies, or prostitutes in the city. By far, the best way to find the diamon in the rough here is to have PLENTY of time and PLENTY of patience.
