For five years, 69-year-old Harold Glover has been renting a house in Bogo city, north Cebu.

Glover, a pensioner from Georgia, USA, had been under surveillance for months following reports that he would invite young girls to his rented unit in Solid Homes Subdivision in barangay Taytayan house and pay them to have sex.

Again old news and again banged to rights given what the media outlets claim to have been happening at he time of his arrest. Lots of photos on the press and lots of news then but now is just 'fish and chip' paper (old new for those who don't understand the phrase).

The arrest of locals for the same offence or similar tends to be reported but with not as much fanfare or press exposure. In fact am sure there are far more instances of it locally that never get this press coverage. But foreign with possible cash means lots of press coverage.

What about posting some FRs of you time in he Philippines, in Cebu rather than links to old news stories in the press as I see from your posting history you seem not keen on FRs or posting photos of your exploits. Just a thought.

Actually according to a taxi driver, Mactan outsourced the taxi management to an Indian outfit and they made the changes. They also collect 10 p per drop. That is what I have been told.

No more going up the stairs to the departure area? White taxis have meters. What about the yellow taxis? No meter? Thanks for the input, plan on Cebu visit soon.

To add to DG's FR.

Yellows have meter also but are more expensive. Some tax drivers (but very few in my experience) may try no meter especially if you go outside Cebu centre (ie to Naga, Talisay, Danao etc) or even Marco Polo hotel!! But just take the next one and say you will report them as this does the trick.

I always tip nicely especially f the driver takes short cuts (I know them myself) and what is 100 pesos to people who likely spent a lot more getting there and staying in hotels at 2000/3000+ pesos a night.

If no one has noticed but getting a taxi after arriving at Mactan is getting better ie more organised.

Now I know being organised and not offering the arriving tourist an organised chaos experience of finding a taxi is an odd thing but I was pleasantly surprised as was the cutie with me.

Now there are white taxis (with meters) to the right of the exit. Yellow to the left of the exit.

The white taxis are controlled by marshals and there are plenty. So organised is it that I reminded of HL and BKK! Really that good and I am not the best when waiting for taxis. Very impressed.

And there is a lack (or certainly less) privateers who double charge the unsuspecting tourist.

That's right no need to go up to departures anymore. Just go out to the right and you will see the line for white metered taxis. Line may look long but only about ten minutes wait. The taxis dropping off at departures can now just make a right turn down to this taxi line area. Pretty efficient. BTW, I think you can cross over the driveway for seniors and disability line. I am a senior but decided to wait in the youngster line.

As we get older and have had so many experiences different women different hotels homes familes cities I think some times we get tired of it and want to settle down with just one woman. I have been to the Pi many times met and bedded many women pros and non pros. Hey, you just let your guard down and I understand. It has happened to me too. I met one woman who was one of the "best " I ever met. But thank god I returned to me senses and caught the woman in many lies Wowow.
