Some but not all clubs charge the girls the Tax. The supposed process is the club then pays a mini. Um tax in the girls name for the days she works. Many clubs took down the daily planner that showed which girls were present because the girls wanted to deny working so many days. The sticking point here was the clubs were supposed to verify the girl had valid registration documents and provide her a receipt for the entry cost so she could deduct it from her earnings.

Reality, the club entry is primarily a cash business and the girls business is primarily cash business, so there is a lot of room to cheat. They don't go to Artemis in groups. There was a report in the news a few days ago. 78 percent of the men caught visiting prostitutes were born abroad. Immigrants born in Sweden wasn't included.

I know of only case of violence. Two Swedish men were murdered by Estonians when they visited prostitutes in Tallinn.

There's more. I go to Amsterdam for work sometimes. There's always some Swedish colleague trying to be funny about girls or drugs. If you go to Germany there are no, absolutely no, such questions.

Happens in the movies, not so much in real life.

There are a number of practical problems.

It is time-intensive. The policeman, or policemen, need to block off a significant block of time to show up for the appointment and demand that she produce registration documentation.

Most jurisdictions don't provide an exemption for the police to get free products or services in conjunction with an investigation. So if the policeman buys an hour, he has to pay (especially when she in fact produces her registration card). And if he pays for the hour out of taxpayer funds, it is going to be unpopular with many of those taxpayers if he has sex with her.

So the police are unlikely to do registration sting operations regarding escorts registering as sex workers.
