But it is a problem when groups identity is pushed ahead of self identity. Because this removes the personal freedom aspect, and one essentially becomes part of a cult. An internet forum can be such a cult. Thankfully, as mentioned before, the FKK environment itself, with its polygamous nature, seems radically anti cultist in its basics.

Very spot on. A healthy relationship with mongering is knowing that it is a hobby, not a representation of society and life as a whole. There has recently been references to Maslow's hierarchy pointing out that sex is a basic physiological need; however, there are other needs. Efforts made in satisfying that one need should be proportionate to efforts made in satisfying the rest. In order to justify an imbalance that leads to ignoring deficits in societal position, health, and wealth, they need to create an alternate reality. This is also known as self delusion. It appears that the delusions are a dangerous sort of coping mechanism that leads one to ignore efforts in recognizing and addressing individual deficiencies. This habit often spills over to all aspect of life and creating false realities become second nature. Even worse, they often blame others for poor outcomes by creating alternative accounts of events. Sometimes they even blame society at large for "getting it wrong" and that they themselves have insightful knowledge despite fact. Perhaps the cause of this is true addiction, but equally credible is that it is the result of a lifetime of rejection by women and even other men. In the latter case, one can see why an effective coping mechanism would be to create alternate realities, blaming others, and falling into the conspiracy theory trap.

I don't consider myself to be addicted. Not at all! A man enjoys having sex, and a lot f it, and now he's "addicted" to one of the most primal of all human needs.
