Whoever came up with the FKK model should be highly commended. I remember my first visit to an FKK (Oase) over 15 years ago I felt as if I was in a dream. However, I don't think Germany will be my first post covid port of call, neither anywhere in Asia. I suspect either the Dominican Republic or Colombia will be my choice as they seem to be less frenzied about this pandemic. As I get older I like to enjoy the ambience and be relaxed. If I were younger I'd probably be trying my best to get to Frankfurt right now.

Yeah, I wonder who came up with the FKK business model, he should be awarded the humanitarian award for liberating mankind LOL! He was the liberator!

I would love FKK set up by the sea or by the lake, but the reality is that FKK is mostly in industrial area LOL!

I wrote several times about this, testing is free and available everywhere. I am fully vaccinated and travelling mostly every week to Germany, I always go to a testing station (be careful not all will accept foreigners) and get tested every 3 days. In the last 3 months not 1 hotel ask me any proof despite on the phone they will always tell you that you need the documents but in fact nothing.

How long does the test take for the result to come out?

Are those testing stations all over the place in major cities of Germany?

However, a manager came down to the locker area to ask me how I knew about the bday deal. Since it's also no longer mentioned on the website, this led me to believe that they are phasing out this policy. I just told him that Bday at Samya has been my tradition for "10 years" and he was happy to let me celebrate for free.

This begs the question that if one gets covid and can't check into a hotel where does he stay? Does he just get a tent or sleep in the car? And then take a shower at a truck stop?

It is German hospitality, you can sleep at the bench in the park LOL!

Unfortunately you just have to call the club you want to visit, a week before your visit. As with anything else during this pandemic, the situation changes week-to-week. As of last week, clubs like Rheingold, Prime, ACA Gold, Penelope do not check anything or collect your personal data. I believe this is NRW-wide. But that could change if the numbers go higher. I was told that Netherlands is re-introducing restriction, so that could affect NRW.

I just got an email from the Dusseldorf airport that the citizen test is the only free test and not available to auslanders for free in the airport.

Will the EU COVID pass be corona-documentation enough for the clubs to be let in? Or do they ask for a negative test? From what I understand Samya is OK with only the EU COVID pass.

After a year long "lock down" I am finally planning a drive down to NRW, fully vaccinated and with a EU COVID pass in my phone. I have RTFF but still have couple of questions after doing my home work.

Has anyone had any hassle staying in hotels in NRW lately due to corona restrictions (some hotels still claims on their web page that a negative test is needed, other say that the EU COVID pass is required, others have no info on the web)? Will the EU COVID pass be corona-documentation enough for the clubs to be let in? Or do they ask for a negative test? From what I understand Samya is OK with only the EU COVID pass.

In June the lady at the reception asked for a test in my hotel in Aachen. Last week I slept in a hotel with a keybox so no one asked me anything.

As for the clubs, it looks like they lifted the restrictions a few days ago (no masks, no registration in Aca gold or Rheingold) but since the incidence rate is rising again, get prepared to show some proof of your health condition.
