I never denied that attitude, image, and appearance can matter significantly. In fact they do. Being clean, nice, polite but not a victim. But age, profession and looks don't really matter that much. It is not hate women. It is that men in the USA need to become emotionally and financially resilient rather than laying the whole deck down on one individual (ie a women) and lash out when this foolish concentration of risk detonates. These posts that scutinize the term alpha male are hilarious. To recap, it started with me making use of the term beta male in reference to what one poster described as one who lets a single woman determine his happiness and self worth. It was a simple post praising the existence of FKKs for men and male autonomy without the mention of the term "alpha male" or any reference of one man exerting dominance over another.

Then, but then, some pseudo intellectual types get butt hurt because the term beta male probably brings back nightmares of being bullied by alpha male types and starts to rant against the apparent notion of the existence of an alpha-beta hierarchy. Five pages of posts later, we have NS's final thesis on the merit of the alpha male concept. These posts are very revealing about the poster's psyche.

Goes to show you, don't bully kids in high school. Apparently it scars people well into their 40's and 50's.
