That's all true but my assertions are not outlandish and does not change the fact that Romanian Latins act very much like American Latinos, much more so than other ethnicities. While no, I would not call them "Latinos" and "Latinas" because of the connotations attached to those terms, I recognize them to be "Latin" and so do they also often call themselves such. Ask a Romanian in America who understands the term "Latin" as it is used stateside and I'll bet you that half will say yes they are Latin.

And let me ask you this, are they any less Latin in culture than Argentinians? Uruguayans? Not here to argue semantics, but real world observations which may differ than your experiences. Mine suggests that Romanians, at least the women, are closer to South American Latinos than most other ethnicities.

Now I am not saying that you are American but just as an example from my experience the American mongerers I met were all known of overpaying significantly as they have (relative) high income and pretty young girls are quite expensive in the states. You can't compare holiday spending to daily spending at home.
