Yep long way off but Melbourne (AUS) to Frankfurt is a long way so thorough planning required.

Depending on whatever your time constraints are and the time of day involved, you could opt to take the train. The S3 runs between Darmstadt and Frankfurt. You'll save a lot of money. Otherwise, unless you are able to cut some kind of deal, you're probably going to pay in the neighborhood of 55 to 65 euros or something like that.
