I don't want to disclose too many personal details for obvious reasons but as I said, we are distancing very strictly. Grocery delivery, thorough cleaning, all that. The lifestyle I have keeps me pretty safe, almost zero interaction with outsiders. I don't know if I agree with you on STDs. Cross fingers nothing yet in my case, but unless it is HIV, I can quietly pay some doc and get it fixed as long as sexually staying away from spouse for a couple of weeks (which you can do with some lame excuses).
