despite a few formatting errors you have provided a good and concise summary of information. a few additions and reminders based on my limited stay there and from rttf.

hotels: there's also the park lane (just behind the quest). i stayed there after i returned from davao and i managed to book a boutique suite direct through agoda for what amounted to be about 3, 700php (2 pax, taxes included as well as a great buffet breakfast / they were running a "book 2 get 3 nights" deal). personally i preferred it over the quest and i can now see why it's ge's preferred hotel.

banks: plenty to choose from around ayala for exchanging hard currency. i used the bank (can't remember the name) that's in the same building as the quest (bank faces the puv terminal). usd exchange rate was fair and it's posted on the front door, just be sure to bring a copy of your passport (i always kept one in my wallet and would leave my passport locked in the hotel safe, no need to carry it around town with you).

atm's: again plenty to choose from, i generally used the ones adjacent to the ayala malls' puv entrance. although they're outside they're in alcoves and they do offer some privacy and, unlike many places, the people there are respectful, they will stand a good distance back while you conduct your business.

For what it's worth, I don't believe the "rhythm" method really works. I know too many couples who have kids to prove that that technique is unreliable (insert big grin).
