I also agree that you have to go in with the right expectations. At club like Insomnia you can see which house girls and couples are going to their parties if you are a member of other sites. But at the same time, it is still hit and miss. A photo is not always recent and it could be have shot by a photographer whose goal is to make the person look super sexy.

I would hit a swing club or a partytreff (not many decent ones left) with someone in NRW.

So I visited Insomnia the other week on a Thursday. I got there around 4 pm or so. It actually makes no sense to go earlier. Unless you want to see fat old naked guys hanging out. NOT MY THING.

I talked two guys that night, as I had never been there. So it is good to make some friends who have been there. In order, to learn more about the club. One guy said it would be more crowded, but it was not the case. Yeah there were several people. But not as he described. FOOD:

There is a buffet upstairs. It is ok. I mean it is a buffet. Probably not the highest quality food, but you need to eat something at some point there. No one was fucking upstairs, and you could look down on everyone while eating.

CLEANLINESS:

They clean and wipe down nonstop. There are towels for the showers. Use the showers. Do not be a stinky nasty person. I did not go in the hotub. That is probably better for winter. But it looked ok.

Could I have fucked more than three times. Yes. Most definitely. But first I had to get used to the scene and figure out how it worked. Secondly, I am picky. Sorry, I am not going to fuck a girl that weighs more than me. You can if that is your thing. But I prefer not to. It was a shame that I did not fuck the other two girls that I found attractive. I've been there many times, never had an issue with them. I mean I had my wallet and all, and never got robbed or anything. Insomnia already has a lot of cash and those who work there are well-paid (as in most of Germany). Robbing petty cash money in such places just doesn't happen.

But in all cases, carry essentials. You shouldn't need more for such a night.

Quick answer: No, English will not hurt the experience. And Asian guys are welcome just like any other guy. Germany, especially in its sex culture, genuinely welcomes everyone.

While speaking only English will not "hurt" your experience in Insomnia, it will sure limit your *social* experience. In Insomnia, many of those who come are regulars. They know each other and they socialize with each other most of the time, besides having sex. So you will notice many groups of 2-3 people on the bar socializing in German. They will not switch to English except if they have to (if you engage with them in English, they'll answer back). So expect to be more "alone" when it comes to socializing if you only speak English. Except if you find some other individuals who aren't socializing and you engage with them. It may work, it may not.

But when it comes to having sex, don't worry my friend. Sex is a universal language which everybody understands. The only language you need is body language. I've tried that many times in Insomnia. I had the pleasure of a first-ever visit here last Thursday, already posted a full report under the Berlin thread.
