I went there around Christmas last year. I was also asked to become a member of Hedonist Society Club (HSC). EUR 30 for 6 month or EUR 60 for one year, I decline as I am just visiting Berlins occasionally. I am not a Hedonist either.

So instead I continue my journey to Alt-Mariendorf EW which is only a few stations away from Alt-Tempelhof. Just a coincidence I also met a German guy who I met a few times from Insomnia He said that he is not going to Insomnia Thursday GB party anymore mainly because it is not as good as it used to be and due to additional requirement to become a member of HSC to attend the party.

This is a GB party with house girls, not a swinger party so I fail to understand the way the management is thinking. Why do they allow their club to be taken for a free ride by the HSC? People are going there to have a GB party not to subsidize the HSC.

They could have organised two GB in a week, one for HSC only and one for general people who just love party. Similarly, the HSC only party could have been incorporated in swinger's party.

Hopefully the management reconsider this policy before it is too late for them to reverse it after most of people are leaving. They probably fail to see that reasonable number of people are not living in Berlin, just go there once in a year or even a one-off occasion. They just do not want to be seen as hedonist as will not justify to become a member of this society.

Went to their Thursday GB event a couple of weeks ago. Numbers were definitely down due to their new membership fee introduced in September. All attendees, even the private ladies and couples, have to be a member now. E30 for 6 months or E60 for 12 months.

Just back from 'Swingin' Sunday'.

Arrived at 8 pm and was probably a second visitor, except 2-3 in-house girls (with their in-house boys too). 3 boring hours later there were total 10-15 males and at max. Two couples that seems quickly quit. In-house girls with their patrons mostly chatting and smoking, right like workers at courtyard. Yep, they showed a couple of "shows" but there were very limited actions. I can relate to what you said. But this is swinging Sunday. It all depends on the number of swingers and their readiness, not on the housegirls. So if you have 2-3 swingers and none are interested in action, there isn't much the club can do about it.

I might need to take a late evening flight out. Would I miss out by not staying past 10 pm? I believe it opens already at 2 pm. Is there action then?

Well, the level and frequency of action depends on the quality and number of people during that time. So it varies. But generally this is the trend:

It starts at 2 and ends at 11 (officially). Anywhere after 10 P. M the action starts slowing and people start leaving. I suggest you start at 2 pm and enjoy the action when its ripe and fresh. Do not worry about late night hours (9- 10 pm) the action starts slowing down. So the best time is before 8-9 pm.
