There is a type of condoms claled lambskin condoms which prevent unwanted pregnancy. But they do not prevent STD's. So make sure it is a latex condom. Just because it's under the "Condom" label does not mean it's safe to use when you are mongering. Read the packet and make sure it's a latex condom and make sure to also check the expiration date. At the same time be sure to press the pack and see if there is air coming out from the pack because if it's, then it's not produced well and should avoid using it.

Get vaccination for Hep be guys, then you are safe as sound. But make sure you guys take all three dose and to do antibody count check at the end to be sure that Hep be has actually worked.

2. HSV 1 & 2 which causes oral herpes.

3. Slight chance of getting Hepatitis B, which causes non-alcholic cirrhosis and for surely your liver may die in 10 years (I'd say Hep B is worse than HIV because anti-retroviral treatment for Hep be is not effective than HIV).

4. Even HIV.

So guys If you don't even like to taste a beer in your whole life span do DATY.

Please don't risk yourself! Health first! Do regular checks!

My previous posts hadn't gone through. Your idea of cutting a condom and placing it in the virgina is noted. But tasting the rubber is not the best, I am sure. I guess to being safe, we need to do this.

Dental dam is as same as latex condom, I know this as I am a newly qualified doc, anyhow I am not a GUM (Gentile Urinary Medicine) expert, you can cut open a condom and it will become a rectangular shape, you can use that on vagina or any other part. But, make sure you use water based lubricants, if you use oil based lubricants, it will break down the latex and may cause perforation hence the bodily liquids may be exchanged!

I was clear on all counts, so being choosy and careful had worked for me. I must admit, I did border on danger many times though during the last decade or so.

This is a well written article indeed. Rate of STD in Sri Lanka is in the rise. Leave out the STD which had cure. So as rightly said below HIV and HERPES once you get it is gone. So very safe sex is the key to it all.

HIV = Highest is is when unprotected intercourse is done But even giving DATY has slight chances of transfer HERPES. DATY, DFK, and of because no protected intercourse are all risks.

Neither of above has cure, so watch watch watch on high mileage girls always practice it safe. I personally love DATY and DFK but don't do with any used or high mileage girls always use protection whenever possible.

I have been reading this forum for some time, and have not contributed to it like other mongers have. But as a person who does have lot of contacts with STD / HIV patients, I always practice very safe sex. Perhaps you guys might think its too paranoid. However, my perception is that the knowledge makes a difference and the experience too. 2. Realize that you can contract an STD / STI from any type of sex.

3. Don't fall into the 'he / she looks clean' trap.

4. Limit your number of partners.

5. Get tested.

6. Be careful when mixing sex with alcohol and other substances.
