I was in MDJ last year after visiting Harbin. I went to local coffee place and saw a girl sitting at a corner reading a book. I walked up and asked if I could sit at her table, she smiled and nod. Just to cut the story short, we chatted a bit before I asked her for her wechat. I later texted her that evening and after some persuasion she agreed to meet up to go to a bath house. Bath house is popular in MDJ. After the bath house we went for supper and I asked her if she mind to come over to my hotel to talk. She hesitated but eventually agreed. In my room I didn't waste much time as it was already 11 pm, within minutes we were kissing and piece by piece of her clothing were taken off. We had sex and again the next morning again. The sex was great and she asked to meet again some time if I'm available. She works in Shanghai but was back home for the holidays.

Last time, about 2 years ago, in the bath house, the lady charged 200 rmb a session (a fuck). Plenty of choices of ladies in a bigger bath house. If the bath house is a smaller one, there could be 5 - 7 ladies.

You just need to tell the staff you need a bath + basic massage, and the ladies inside the massage hall will ask you if you want sex. Ladies age are about 25 and up to 40.

I saw the environment is quite safe and clean.

Mudanjiang is medium city in China, the 3rd largest city in Heilongjiang province. As for my last trip to here last year, there are numerous bath houses in the city, with many of them provide fun, like in the other Chinese cities / towns. They are so common and popular I guess.

Also, there are many KTVs there you can choose, in which you don't need to know much Chinese, just a little would be enough.

I was there 8 years ago and found some small massage parlors off that main shopping street (the walking street) in the center of town. Go there in the evening and you should see the Christmas lights or pink lights or shops with the pictures of feet on the outside. They were located just one or two blocks off the walking street. It should cost about 100 kuai a pop. I know that things in China change very quickly so they might not be there any more but give it a try.

Or ask a taxi driver to take you to an area that has many massage places (an mo). If you want to go to a bathhouse (xiyu zhongxin) it should cost 150. 200 kuai for an average type of place (slightly dinghy). For the "luxury" bathhouses it should be about 300. 400. Don't let them rip you off. Mudanjiang, and all of northeast China (Liaoning, Jilin and Heilongjiang provinces) , have a much lower cost of living than the southern and coastal regions.

Remember the Golden Rule when mongering in China: if you even think that you're being ripped off, then just leave. You can always find another bathhouse or massage parlor. If the girl or mami quickly and enthusiastically agree to special services, they're probably setting you up to be ripped off. If they agree with a straight face, like it's part of their usual services, then it's probably okay.
