I am confident that the unique service that Dietz provides will continue to exist after June 1. The market forces are simply too great. AO is the primary reason these clubs exist. It's why I used to drive to Dietz or DVR when I could have literally walked to Sharks.

The new law will start the 1st of July, the target is to close those clubs, therefor I am quite sure that AO will disappear very soon on internet etc. But also in most of the places in Germany.

I really hope so. I had a trip planned early next month, but not only was my vacation revoked by my company, but I won't have a day off till September now! So much for a summer trip to Europe! Ill give it a try in September.

I have taken this train before. It is at Brussels that the Eurostar arrives at 1405. Then, after a half hour wait, there is another 3 hours by another train to Frankfurt. Won't reach FKK till way past 6 pm.

Not only is this trip long, it was expensive. But I had to resort to it because, at that time, BA and Lufthansa were competing to see who could mount strikes more often.

Oh right, that makes more sense.

Daffon missed out the Brussels to Frankfurt leg which is presumably via Cologne. I was going to say that if the trip from London to Frankfurt was a little over 2 hours then that train is way faster than a plane. I did not realise there was bullet trains that quick including stops.

Daffon. Plane is generally cheaper and quicker, even if you go to an airport like Dusseldorf or Hahn or Stuttgart. Strikes on Lufthansa Group seem to be over for now. Flybe, Ryanair and Easy jet are options but they don't change their routes quite often so I'm not sure of all their current routes.
