That's a total disgrace. How can a club like this take advantage of their punters like this.
I would avoid paying and take my business to DV or Aca.
That's explains why my Friday visit was full of hapless tourists. If taxi drivers gets a €10 euro
Commission per punter + the fare, that explains why they are directing all the men to Magnum
And not Living Room or DV.

It should be possible to walk from the hotel to Magnum by cutting thru the back lots. Also good to know a hotel is very close to the club.

Posts: 168They also charged me 60. I thought that was the normal price and didn't think of it. But if it's normally 50, and 10 goes directly to the taxi driver that's quite outrageous, as I said, like 20th century. I would've waited for the bus if I knew that. There are a couple of buses that go very close, just use vrr.de or bahn.de, stop neuenhausplatz or max-planck straße. With taxi it's probably best to drop off somewhere nearby, I've never been there but looking at googles maps at Neuenhausplatz there is small shopping center and also a residential area, so that's a credible destination. For the way back late at night there are a couple of S-Bahns running from the Eller stations (Eller, Eller-Mitte, Eller-Süthe) in Düsseldorf also during the week. Taxi from the club was 17 euros, I believe.
Yes, the alcohol and Red Bull (I had one beer and one RB that was 7 euros) is registered via your locker no. and you pay when you leave.

The 737 bus comes from Dusseldorf Hauptbahnhof so you could take it direct and avoid the train but the journey would be longer.

You should only have been charged 50. What ever the club gives the Taxi firm between them.

Hi,
Gave a try this club Saturday from 12 to 5 pm.
The place is nice, and there was a lot of variety, not just Romanian brunettes like in some other clubs (spent 2 nights in Living Room before).
Restaurant was good and worked well for me.
We took a a taxi from HBF, cost 35 €, but then the driver followed us in, we payed 60 € (instead of 50 € I beleive) , and the driver got xtra 20.
Tried nice Dominique girl and even nicer. 19 old tunisian, girl, sorry I forgot the names, there were also german blonds, maybe 30. 40 girls all in all.

Posts: 719Don't get too excited. I saw Kim at GT on Sunday and told her about the high men ratio
At Magnum on Thursday night. Some of her GT friends eyes just lit up, so a few will
Give Magnum a try this week.

By reading many of the past posts I still have some questions. If arriving at S bahn Erkrath are there taxis usually there. When leaving will the desk call a taxi to take you to Erkrath S bahn? A couple of questions about food. Is buffet free and also 20 euro credit to order other food? Alcohol. How do you pay?
