Posts: 7Been there last month. Slow business. Check-in before 3 pm so it cost me only 30 € including 20 € credit for a-la-carte menu. But it didn't seem to bring more early clients. Gambas were still delicious. Hey, happy hour 30 € is less expensive than a mid-range restaurant for 2 meals (buffet + a la carte) + soft drinks. Definitely the best bargain I had in Germany about facilities and catering.
Last floor was closed due to lack of customers. What a change since 2 years when it was always full on week-ends. Anyone can explain why the club went down?
Casting was average, on par with low attendance. I guess about 40 girls in the evening. Had two good rooms with Alicia (blond Romanian with glasses and soft skin) and Roxana (very sweet lady from Moldavia). Good service, no upselling, 50 euros. Would repeat if the club doesn't close before I return.

Posts: 796So the bottomline is that Magnum won't be closed. Instead it did file "chapter 11" (insolvency) - and is currently under the regime of an insolvency mgr. Seemingly from may 1st a new owner (unnamed) will take over. Accroding to this german thread that downandup mentioned below.

Posts: 2207As far as I know, Acapulco hasn't closed. It was a Christmas rumor last year, as Living Room was supposed to close the year before.

I think that your wish has been granted, first Yin Yang, then Acapulco may or may not be closing (and is it temporary or permanent?) and now here.

Posts: 796Interesting. Couldn't find the thread you are quoting. Can you post the path / url here?
P.S.: Every club in NRW closing is *great* news. As it concentrates girls and men on the remaining clubs. And concentration implies better choice. The problem with Magnum is: that this club had 40 rooms. Not even Sharks has that many rooms. So if they close down. Maybe someone else can rent it??

Posts: 936It seems as if Magnum really is closing, I'm not clear on what's happening but it's being forced to close by the authorities. But as seen on the Harem Pauschal Club Dormagen thread, it is opening up there.

Posts: 796Still a rumour. It is one of the bottom 20 clubs in NRW which, if the 20 owners could agree to merge, could potentially become the largest club on the planet. But since the owners all seem to hate each other, none of them is merging. so they are just continue their long not-ending dying-process. Hoping for better times.. or still mildly profitable.
The club is devasted in the week. On the weekend there is a bit more going on. But still paling in comparison to sharks, samya, aca, gt.
The best thing about magnum: food and no waiting lines.
P.S.: and wow what a great club it was just 3 yrs ago. A-mazing. Even crowded on Tuesday- with tons of beautiful girls. What a difference just a few year can make.

Posts: 165The swimming pool was never in use. No worries about whirlpool-health issues: they removed the whirlpool long time ago. The club has become irrelevant and quite deserted probably. Didn't go there myself the last 9 months so can't update correctly about the line-up but rumors go that it ain't great.

Posts: 9I heard that the brand new swimming pool was never put in use. Last time I was in the club, more than 3 years ago, it was already a shark pond (the club, not the swimming pool). Even my good friend who used to enjoy this place doesn't dare to go there anymore. The restaurant was nice though.
And believe me, it's not a good idea to drink the hot jacuzzi!
