GETTING THERE.

I had plugged FKK Rom's address into my satnav at the beginning of my trip, thinking if I had time I could check it out. Having left early from Finca, and still having some energy left, I decided to divert my drive to check it out, hoping for a diamond in the rough like meeting Sabrina at H7. The drive in the dark was a little odd, but maybe just because I hadn't been there before. Funny how clubs like these can exist in little hamlets like Hennef or Friedrichsdorf--I guess that's better than having them all lined up on the same street like in Pahrump or the alley in Tijuana.

INTRODUCTION.

Arriving around 915 pm, I parked my rental Benz in the 1/3 full Rom lot and went inside. The place does have a former hotel feel, with the front desk lobby reminiscent of the cheap places near Hauptbahnhof that I sometimes get when staying in Frankfurt. The locker room was cramped though, although the showers seemed nice.

I had paid 25 EUR for entry, so I was given a locker key and that was it. Inside the locker was my "kilt", a towel wrap with an elastic waistband, terry pocket, and buttons to adjust the fit. I've seen these on guys at clubs, perhaps not as worn as my Rom-issued one, and marveled at how well it works. No more adjusting the overlap of your towel so your junk doesn't get rindbraten sauce dripped on it (although that might be a plus for a girl giving you a BBBJ: "Here's the beef!" But it always seemed dorky, like wearing socks with sandals. Perhaps, like the latter Birkenstock fashion, this is yet another Teutonic trait to embrace as a traveler. When in Rome, er, FKK Rom, do as the locals do.

I was quite impressed with the size of the facility--they had two saunas, a large jacuzzi, tons of relax beds, a lounge in the back showing tennis and soccer and golf on high-res flat TVs, and what looked like a nice pool (it was a bit cold now to go out there).

But I wasn't impressed with the lineup--it was total be and see teamers. I didn't have high expectations, thinking it would be similar to H7 or Penelope, but those have had one or two hot girls amongst the mingers. There were some girl next door types, but with wide hips or a belly band covering a tummy pooch. Having just given up the chance to fuck hot blondie Ina at Finca for this, I was disappointed.

I don't go to a club for the facilities, although I do like nice places. I go for the girls. I can live with a tiny club with shitty lockers like Luder Lounge if there are hot young Polish chicks and good couch BBBJ starts. But places like Oceans, with the fancy salt lounge and upscale bar / bistro don't appeal to me unless the girls and service match.

I decided to make the best of it though, checking out the buffet trays. Many were creamy potato / pasta things, and the bread basket was empty save for some crumbs, but there was one tray of spaetzle, which I always can't turn away. The rindbraten was saucy and tasted as if it had been there for a few hours, which I guess it had by this time of night. I was surprised that the salad wasn't the typical cheap iceberg lettuce but had radicchio, mache, and frise.

The really odd thing about Rom's 25 EUR entry is the whole no beverages thing. The food is included by no drinks are. I took to drinking from my water bottle in my knapsack, refilling it from the tap in the bathroom as I usually do at my cheap hotels. I guess that makes me a barbarian in the eyes of Europeans, but having traveled recently in third-world countries I appreciate the modern marvel that is potable water coming right out of almost any faucet.

The patrons were mostly local guys, both young and old. One bald blind guy was being led to a room by a girl--I thought they had a good banter going and I thought, "he seems like he's going to get a good time". I always think this is perhaps one of the best aspects of the whole German pay sex industry--they always seem very accommodation of differently-abled customers. I recall one of my earliest visits to Oase when I saw a guy in an electric wheelchair / scooter on the shoulder of the road leading from Burgholzhausen to Oase, and him in the locker room being helped by the hausfrau with a very kind manner. I later chatted with the blind guy while leaving and he turned out to be a real cool dude.

The girls were all from the usual Romanian / Bulgarian mold, except instead of goat herder girls fresh off the long-range bus they were mostly hardened pros with too much makeup. All were aggressive in their pitch, sometimes just leading with the "Come baby, lets go with the room" and not even so much a "Hello, wie geht? Antonia, with big tits and an ass to match, told me she was from Italy. "How nice," I said. What part of Italy? "Rumanien". I never knew that was the full name of Italy's capital city, I always thought it was named after the bad guys from Star Trek. One girl, seemingly frustrated with her lack of business, honestly answered my "how do you like this club?" question, saying she'd try Sharks next. I looked her over, and said, "there are lots of new girls at Sharks these days" knowing that she would have a hard time standing out with the luxurious deep bench at Sharks nowadays.

I hope the influx of girls from hard-sell little clubs like Rom doesn't infect Sharks with a bad-service virus. Already I hear stories of the new girls pulling the mandatory 1 HR for GFE thing, and stuffing more 6's and 7's into a club doesn't do anything except make it harder to get around when you're trying to find your 8 or 9 hot babe.

I forced myself to hang out for a while, to see if the lineup would improve. While in the entry lobby I noticed some doable girls leaving in street clothes, they all had the same tight jeans, black puffer jacket, and cigarette packs in their hands. Birds of a feather. I fended off a number of approaches. Helena had a sweet disposition to match her young farmers daughter face, but that hardly ever passes the boner test.

The bar area at Rom is pretty dark and smoky--I know some girls saw me checking them out, and they came over for the usual interview, but up close I would see that they were mostly butterfaces. I caught a fleeting glimpse of one girl who could hang with the girls I just met at Finca, but she got snapped up by a big German guy.

After about an hour and 15 I couldn't wait around any longer, and went to the locker room to get dressed. The blind guy and his buddy had the lockers on either side of me, and I politely got my stuff and changed in the back of the room. The blind guy talked with me for a while, noting my American accent and elementary German, and wished me safe travels back home.

The Rom line up is enough. You will find a variety of Romanians there.

Rom club has its own car park. Although, it gets quite full when evening time. If you are a day time arrival then the parking in the club's own car park is less of an issue.
