check a little closer and you'll see the dialogue was about more than one post and the [CodeWord123] was not of the garden variety type. you've got to be informed if you want to join the discussion.

posting an article about a [CodeWord123] is not really relevant in the sense that it is not some kind of special news outside of what this forum is about.

[CodeWord124] occur in every country, every day, so how is this news? it really doesn't have any value for somebody planning to go on vacation to belize and looking for some action.

    yes or no?

Dude, wake up! I pointed out facts. Believe what you want, the info I submitted was not my opinion, it was from the U.S. Dept of State and Belize own Media sites. I never said any thing other than it was a dangerous place and to be careful, how you got Civil war out of that is beyond me.

If you have positive information to share about Belize, then by all means submit it, don't question me!

Concerning the case with the young lady, it is sad, but those things happen on a much larger scale in every country around the world. Every country has its issues.

I am not going to be naive and say Belize does not have it's own level of danger, but let's not forget the industry we are all very interested in. That industry is one of risk and danger from cities in the states to the small towns in Africa. Let's not mention isolated issues within one country and pretend it does not exist elsewhere. We should ALWAYS be safe wherever we go and whatever we do.

us$10 [CodeWord123] – husband beat and held down wife for friend!
    by shevon martin

belize city, thu, may. 26, 2005

today, police are conducting an investigation into an alleged [CodeWord123] that reportedly occurred on saturday, may 21, in orange walk town.

according to police, a 26-year-old guatemalan domestic of orange walk town reported to them that on saturday, when she left a bar and was standing at the corner of baker’s street and main street, she was approached by a car, which was driven at the time by one of her common-law husband’s friends.

the woman said that her husband was also in the car, so she got into the vehicle and sat in the back passenger seat.

police say the woman told them that the car was driven to a feeder road near trial farm village, orange walk district. the woman claimed that her husband told her that he had already collected us$10.00 for her to have sex with his friend.

the woman alleged that when she refused, her husband beat her and held her down, while the person who had been driving raped her.

police have detained the woman’s common-law husband, who is being questioned in connection with this incident.

    Prices

St's - run around 40USD and are mainly at Rauls Rose Garden 30mins
Lt's - run around 100-150usd/night mainly at rauls also, You can take the girls out for that price to your hotel. the girls are responsible to pay the house from those fares. most girls do anything but with protection only.

There are almost no SG's in Belize and i do mean almost none. some of the local girls might fly for it though. I have picked up a couple of them and got them to go. most dont ask more than 20usd to do whatever. some get overpriced and want around 50usd .

The conversion rate is $2.00bze to $1.00usd. hence my constant usd quotes.

Good to know you're Ok, your welfare is more important than the postings or the pics. Stay safe, Belize can be lovely, but it can also be a rough place to be.

    Im OK, Im OK

The looting and all the uprising is a direct result of the people revolting against the government. There was no harm done to tourists or tourists establishments and there has been no more looting or rioting since. Belize is not like other central american countries that is wrapped in civil wars and tourmoil.

I have been preoccupied with projects throught the country that have prevented me from getting to the photo and postings. But i will soon. Promise!

Hope Belize Insider is ok and didn't get caught up in anything ominous in Belize. Here a recent story from one of the local TV Stations, Belize is still a tough place all around.

When we signed off on last night's newscast, it was with the sun setting and tyres burning amidst a restless crowd on the Belcan Bridge. What happened next was not pretty as a day of political protest morphed into a night of indiscriminate looting. News Five's Rick Romero and Stewart Krohn ventured into Belize City's chaotic downtown area around Albert and Regent streets and came back with some thought-provoking pictures.

Viewers will recognize the looted stores as Gaylord and Venus on King Street, as well as Miami Fashion and Hofius on Albert Street.

Other downtown businesses, including the Belize Bank and First Caribbean International Bank, suffered broken windows, but in the end their defences remained intact. We present the footage without comment.
