I'm considering going to Jaco for a week in June with a buddy. I've never been to Costa Rica so I was wondering how Jaco compares to Panama City.

Is one week too long to stay in Jaco? Should we spend the week in San Jose and go to Jaco only for the weekend?

Any help would be appreciated. I'm trying to decide if we should try something new or go back to Panama where we had a blast.

We stayed at Monaco last year--loved it. Well located and reasonably priced. We had a three bedroom unit. No problem bringing girls back--although there was a modest charge--don't remember how much. Only place worth going to for chicas in Jaco is Cocal. Hve fun. Can't wait to go back.

Dec 2 at Sportsman.

Dec 3 - 8 at Monaco in Jaco.

Dec 9-11 at Sportsman but trying to change to La Amistad.

I worked my booking for the stay, using alot of the information I gathered from this board.

Considering all my options, I worked booking.com to check hotels, then I went to the top 10 list from here at visited each of their websites.

I then went to VBRO and did a search and started working the list.

A lot of great deals to be had and once I saw the pricing vs a hotel, it was way too easy.

I narrowed down to five properties and at the time I started, I had a wing man coming with me, so 2 bedroom condos were the search.

I worked it for a week and then my wingman broke a wing and can't make it..

I am curious about the availability and safety of incalls in Jaco. Because I will be traveling with family, I will not be able to bring girls to my room, but may be able to slip away for some recreation. Where would I find safe girls with safe incalls, if they exist?

Cocal is pretty much the only game in town as there are no massage parlors / pensions in Jaco like you find in San Jose. Many of the girls there live in the city or elsewhere and travel to Jaco on the weekends to work, so chances are you can find a girl willing to take you back to her hotel. I was offered this once but declined as my hotel was nearby.

Alternatively, you can hit the strip club right in front of Cocal called "Gentlemans Club" as you can have sex in the VIP. Published rate is $390 but I ended up going for $200 and they were quick to bargain down. Of course I got screwed for a $500 drink tab, so still ended up paying in the end. I certainly wouldn't recommend this place, but if your desperate, it's an option.

I was just in Jaco about 2 months ago. All the girls I talked to (about 20) started at either 100 or 120. I was able to get 2 down to 60 and the rest either 80 or 100. $3-400 is just crazy.

I know of some guys who used to do this, about 10 years ago before the girls in CR became so hardcore; lotions, perfume, gifts for their kids. First off, TSA won't allow the liquid items and the girls nowadays would just roll their eyes. I have been to Jaco several times, and all girls are between $80 to $120 , with $100 usually being the default price. This is of course, short time, usually a couple of hours. Do not pay more than this, even the prettiest girls will take this.

I couldn't get them to respond on line either. During the last week in December 2014, I simply walked in with cash in my hand and got a room. I did it one other time too during 2015. Maybe not the preferred way, but it worked both times for me.

A lot of smaller places do it that way due to the fact they can up charge walkin's and charge them double or triple. If they don't bite they know a person will be arriving. If you arrive and they sold your room for double / triple. They just tell you. I'm sorry. Been there. Especially during Holliday time.
