I am going to Jaco I would like to know if the Selina hostel allows guests. Or if there is any other guest friendly (I'm OK with a fee) other than crocs and Cocal. Thank you.

Greetings fellow deviants.

Long time monger / member with multiple, extensive reports on Rio, DR, Panama and Colombia. Currently living in Medellin. Looking at my first planned mongering trip to Costa Rica. I think my sweet sauce will be to arrive and spend the first night at Hotel Del Rey in San Jose, then spend three to four nights at Cocal in Jaco Beach, then finish up with a night at Hotel Del Rey prior to my flight out. Here's what I'm wondering.

1. What are good mongering spots relatively close to HDR and what price should I expect there?

2. Is it safe to search for / solicit street meat near HDR on the surrounding streets?

3. What are good mongering spots outside of Cocal in the little town area just outside the compound? What prices should I expect from freelancers on the street or at the nearby establishments?

4. What are good mongering spots in the greater Jaco-Jaco Beach area? I have been told pretty much all girls you might run into are available. Is that true? What pricing should I expect to pay with these freelancers? I will have a car, so anything within a 15-20 min drive is fair game.

Spent the weekend in Jaco at the Cocal. First visit back in two years. The chicas are pretty hardened pros at the Cocal. They are definitely clock watchers so plan for exactly one hour unless you make a different agreement. The hottest chicas (young and thin) are asking $200 and accepting $150. Although I did have one very hot one accept my $100 offer but I think that was lucky because I caught her stepping out of her taxi and she decided not to pass an immediate score. Even though it's a tougher game here than other destinations I'll still return occasionally to enjoy the beach and always a good group of fun loving guys acting like kids in the candy store. Makes for a great long weekend trip!

I always stay at Macaws on the south end.

Any insight into the Airbnb scene? I'm hip, but not sure what that means. LOL. Does that mean, just pretend like you belong?

Or is the airbnb more difficult for the mongering scene. Travelling with some friends, hence some are leaning towards those options verse hotels.

Just compare what you find with the houses listed on the JacoVIP or other bachelor party sites. Those would be chica friendly. Or just ask directly what their guest policy is. Most houses that don't allow guests will say "no parties or events".

I have not seen any bi sexual girls in Costa Rica. It is there but need to find it. Nobody openly advertise their sexuality ina conservative world. You are dealing with freelancers. So no help from mamasan or brothel manager.

I guess talk to many girls and they may or may not point to the right girl. Then discuss what the girl will do or will not do and ofcourse price.

Hotel cocal is a great safe hotel and there's lots of action.

I recommend using an international calling service like skype and flat out asking if they are "chica friendly. " It has been 6 years since I have been to Jaco, but will probably be back in a few months. It worked then and I plan to do it again when I make a return trip.

I'm still searching for a monger friendly hotel in Jaco August 1st - 4th. I'm kind of scared to book just any room before I do some research. Would hate to book rooms that aren't chica friendly. Seems to be a common question here. I've emailed all of these hotels to ask about the guest policy with no response. I don't speak Spanish so.

I WISH there was a maintained and updated list of Monger Friendly hotels in Jaco. At this point I don't care if the hotel charges us a fee for guest. Any help on this would be great guys!

I stayed there most recently about a year ago. The place are nice. I won't recommend the place now though. The do not want you bringing girls in except later at night and the fee is $50 per visit. I ended up getting the fee down to $25, we brought a ton of girls in there, and I can't say they were happy about it even though we were paying. Stay at Vista Mar or get a Cocal room and sleep at another non chica friendly hotel.

Thanks for the advise. I looked at the Vista Mar but was trying to stay away from the $300 per night rooms. So would the only chica friendly places be Vista Mar and Cocal? I also looked at staying at Cocal but their website didn't really show the rooms and even they charge $15 per night for a guest. I was also looked at Oceano and Crocs but wasn't sure if they were chica friendly or not.
