Has anyone stayed in this hotel. It says adults only. So maybe girlfriendly. Reception closes at 9 pm. Maybe I need to tip the security in case. It says it is a 4 star hotel. Even if it is far from action does not matter. I have a rental car. I have picked up many girls everywhere, just stop the car and say Hi without even getting into the bars.

Stayed there in 2019. Not sure where you're getting that it's adults only, there were definitely kids there back then. They are not girl friendly. When you book a room, they give you a warning that they do not allow sexual tourism. We just ignored it and tried to bring girls back one night but they said no guests unless they are already registered. Bribing did not work either. She did say that we could update the registration in the morning if we wanted to bring the girls back the next day.

The daytime action in San Jose is mostly at the Pension and local bars where many gringos are afraid to go. To find daytime action gringos have to get out of their comfort zone. The pensions and local bars are scattered throughout the centro area. Some are within walking distance of each other. I find that the pensions in San Jose are convenient and economical.

To add to do this can try casinos in the daytime. There are always girls hanging around there. You do not need to gamble. Just walk around and if you get a smile negotiate.

Jaco is better on weekends; no real daytime action in either SJ or Jaco. You should find one you like during the evening and try to set something up for the daytime. At the Taormina, girls start arriving about 1 - 2 pm.

Totally depends on what you want. Jaco is a beach town, hot and humid mostly. Action mostly in Cocal evenings and night.

San Jose is a city in the mountains, cooler climate, daytime options in various pensiones (massage parlour idea), and evening at various hotels, all talked about in previous threads. San Jose is a city of around a million in total. Jaco is a town on the coast.

I highly recommend this discreet chilled out beautiful airbnb in Jaco, I just stayed there again and loved it. The building has 3 one bedroom units with a cool manager onsite. Place is so popular just google "Bachelor pad Jaco Airbnb" and all three units come up #1. Place has ethernet, perfect for me, a digital nomad. Plus there's a supermarket next door. Makes life easy for my 3-4 week stays. Girls are fine, just be cool, respectful and reasonably discreet bringing them in, and no loud partying. No doorman, so no awkward bribing. And no extra guest charge nonsense. When I was there the guy in the upstairs unit had the same girl staying for a week, and manager didn't care.

Have been to DR plenty and been to Cartagena also. Guys trip 1st in Jaco. We are in our mid 20's. In DR I stayed in a resort every time and just did my fun outside those compounds. In Cartagena me and the guys had a nice air bnb and just bribed the security every night with a little cash to let the Chicas up stairs to our spot. Airbnb in Jaco trying to book but they seem very strict on the no guest policy even in the comments. Is it easy bribing security in Jaco like it was for us in Colombia? The houses and condos all say no guest and no Chicas on specific lots of times. Where can we get a bachelor pad for 4 nights that is legit nice?

Also do the girls look as good as Cartagena? What's the night life like? I see curfew is still around. We go in mid September. Thanks in advance for the help!!

Attending a bachelor party for a few days in Jaco. Is there any updates the curfew and nightlife? Additionally, any recommendations for a large group of guys to party / drink?

As of last week curfew is at 10 PM. If you go to Hotel Cocal and are willing to deal with some of the older hookers (they are a pain in the ass and will bleed you dry), you can ask one of them to take you to an afterparty. Once you meet the people running the after-parties they will let you and your friends in. Just as a side note, 4 of the nights I was there, every cash machine in the city was shut down from about 10 PM to sometime the next morning. The first time, it freaked me out. None would give me money and I needed it. I thought someone had hacked my bank account, but everything was fine the next day. The second time it happened, I realized that I needed to make sure I have all the money I need before like 8 PM.

Anyone able to speak on the current average P2P price rn in Jaco beach. Eyeing end of the month first trip.

I just back on Friday. Stayed at Cocal. The first day I paid $150 (because I didn't know better). After that, I never paid more than $100 (I had 25-30 girls during my stay), with the exception of $350 for an overnight (which was a waste of money) and a $150 for an overnight (which was a waste of money). I usually just accepted $100 when offered. My last week there, I hung with a few guys that paid between $60-80, I didn't believe them until they hooked me up with an ultra-hot 18 YO for $70. She didn't even barter with them. I think the difference is that I asked them how much they wanted, while the guys told them what they were willing to pay. I did pay $50 for an incredible, sloppy, messy BBBJ that I will probably remember for ever.

Last time I was there there were couple of places with plenty of action but only on the weekend. Prices were a little high. About 100 to 150 an hour. What is happening now. Availability and prices during the week and weekend. Thanks.

I highly recommend an Airbnb I found by chance, just google "Jaco bachelor pad Airbnb", and it will pull it right up, PM me if needed. Place is modern discreet 1 Bedroom, there are like 3-4 units available in the building, has a full kitchen with ethernet. I remote work all day, and love the next door supermarket so I don't pay through the nose for room service or beer. Discreet little hideaway, owner is cool USA guy, no problem / hassle with overnight guests I got the sense he enjoyed the whole scene. Placed is quiet, not an animal house, which is perfect cause I'm up early. Worked all day, partied at night, had the best trip of my life.
