Arranged to have a van meet us at the airport for the trip to Jaco; $120 quoted price. My flight was delayed five hours, but the driver waited. I gave him $150; split with my wingman.

Hotel Cocal. Spent four evenings of partying at the "Frogs Bar" at the Cocal. Some nights were better than others; anywhere from 50 - 100 girls on certain nights. The girls at the Cocal are not shy; some are very aggressive! It's not uncommon to be pounced on by two girls, one on each side as they go through their meeting ritual in broken English:

We stayed at the Hotel South Beach; a five-minute taxi ride to the Cocal. Nice hotel; affiliated with the Del Rey in SJO. $130 a night with breakfast included. No guest fee. Nice big rooms with balcony, pool and ocean views. I took one girl from the Cocal; one I had been with two other occasions at the Del Rey, so I knew what I was getting, LOL. Though I didn't take her that night. We met the next afternoon at my hotel, laid out at the pool, took in a swim, then retired to my poolside room for a good GFE experience; tongue kissing, blowjob (no condom), them multi-positional fucking. I paid $200 because she spent the better part of three hours at my disposal.

I met another girl at the Cocal later that night, but told her I wasn't going to take her that night. She was only in Jaco for the night anyway, then going back to San Jose. I gave her 10,000 colones for her time and we exchanged numbers in WhatsApp. She had a regular day job, working at a family owned bakery in her town, about 20 miles outside SJO. The Uber driver would wait in the area until the Cocal bar closed, then drive them back to SJO; not a bad deal.

All in all; I go to the Cocal to look at the girls. But most are hardened professionals, not to my liking. I prefer to sit with a girl and get her a few drinks to see if there is a connection. It helps if you go on a frequent basis, as I do.

I dropped by San Jaco and the Cocal bar yesterday at 3 pm. As the taxi drove in, 4 or 5 grannies or MILFs waved to me. No temperature checks or vaccination checks that I saw. Can anyone please provide a report regarding the scene at the Cocal bar? Is the crowd at the bar busy? Are there still many girls outside the hotel on the street that are not vaccinated? Last time I was there in September, many of the girls did not have vaccines, hence the required QR code to get in, and could not.

Get a SIM card for a phone and download waze it works wonderfully in the CR. You can drive all over the country. Also find a chick that might want to go with you. Makes it way fun. If you want her to leave just make sure you have bus money and it's agreed ahead of time.

I had a wonderful lady I traveled all over the country and stayed in different Airbnbs over the course of 3 years plus and I still dream about all of it.

I've rented a car a few times, and it is just fine. Be mindful of driving during or after heavy rains though, as depending where you are the roads disappear in spots. Otherwise, its all good!

I never pay through the nose for small rooms at the Cocal where the internet is spotty. Just google "bachelor pad Airbnb Jaco", "bachelor pad Airbnb San Jose", etc, it will punch through the usual filters and get you the places you want. I typically stay for week or so and find a regular Airbnb apartment with a kitchen so much better than a hotel room where there's no place even to set up your computer.

I've rented a car a few times, and it is just fine. Be mindful of driving during or after heavy rains though, as depending where you are the roads disappear in spots. Otherwise, its all good!

If you rent a vehicle be sure that they will find damage when you return it. Well, maybe not 100% of the time, but 100% for me. So take pictures before, or get the expensive insurance that covers everything. Might double the price, but. Your choice.

I have always rented a car in Costa Rica and driven all over. Only San Jose has traffic problems but rest of the country is wide open. Beware there are no road signs, so you need to study the route before you travel. I have met and taken many girls touring. Lots of places to go and experience. I never had a problem.

I'm hiring a car for at least one day / night, so if I really want to bring a different girl back, all I have to do is find a girl who's willing to hide in the boot of my car hire while I drive us through the security gate and to my rental far away from the entrance, LOL.

Booked an Airbnb in Jaco, and I knew going into it that bringing chicas back to the flat would be difficult. 24 hour security and gate. Luckily, my Uber driver to Jaco had a lifelong friend who works the Jaco clubs. She was beautiful in the photos he showed me, so we did a 5 minute detour to her town for a quick meet and greet. I have been to Jaco 2 times in last year and the costs for the girls in Cocal is always between $100-150. I have never been able to get pricing less than that..

Things are expensive as the girls say in the CR.

The ones that have self respect and think of themselves as value won't go below the rate you quoted.

However, around the place especially with Nicas there are bargains to be had. Keep in mind many CR girls don't like Nicas and you may find them at Cocal, but they are often not wanted around by the other girls. They are also often in the country illegally looking for work and will accept much less.

I was surprised when I lived there learning about the culture and many CR folks view Nicas as a cursed people and don't want them anywhere in their country. I found them to be sweet and amazing but they were viewed very negatively. I'm not sure how management feels at cocal but the girls run their own hierarchy. So many Nicca girls hang around outside the place. One warning however, sometimes the girls travel to CR with their men and the men are in the shadows and I saw one become very very jealous one time.
