After 5 days in Jaco (2nd time around), my feelings on the sexo scene are best summed up by a chica I talked to in the Beatle Bar. She doesn't go to the Colonial bar, no_name bar, Tabacon, Nacho Daddys, Pancho Villa, or walk the streets of Jaco. She only goes to the Beatle Bar.

Thats the only sure thing here. You know there will be action there every night. The rest of those places are hit or miss, sometimes_maybe spots. The Beatle Bar was jammed w|chicas on Thurs., Fri. and Sat, not so much on Sun and Monday.

There is street action here. I was approached several times by chicas, none of them turned me on, but some I think were transvestites, not sure. By the way they're walking around day and night.

I like the town though, its still a fun beach setting, with enough activities to keep me stimulated and some good eateries too.

This is just my feelings, you locals may disagree. Take care

Roadside *****house 10 miles from Jaco. Bar El Piragua is across the street from a gas station near Steve and Lisa's No. 2 (Orange gate and roof). There were about 6 chicas working there all Dominicanas. I was the only tourist (American) in there. The guys were blue collar, rough_edged type guys, but I felt safe in there.

Anna came over and I bought a beer, then she asked me to buy her one so I did. She had a real sweet personality, with a good sense of humor and a great smile. She asked for $40, but I got her down to $30 for a half hour (the locals probably pay less). So we went to a scrufty room in the back with no light (it was late afternoon) so I could see a little. She slipped on a condum and I knew I was finished. I just can't get off with those things on, but she sucked and sucked as best she could. I finally told her to give me a massage for a while. Then we tried with lotion and no condum but it was no use. I couldnt get hard or off.

Anyway, it was fun talking to her and I had a good time. The place has a bar and some rooms in the back for sex. Nothing great, except cheap sex compared to the Beatle Bar. (This is the place Sponge Bud had noticed a while back in one of his reports.) bayboy

I was reading through the lodging, dining and drinking options in the latest Lonely Planet travel guide and came across this hilarious quote regarding Beatle Bar:

"If Beatle Bar were a piece of candy, it'd have a crunchy outer shell of Latina prostitutes and a creamy white filling of old, dirty men."

Although I imagine the quote was intended to be judgmental the irony is it was much more of a selling point for me.

Just a quick update, D'pelufos is being renovated and is opening under new management and new name. The new name is Crazy Horse Gentlemans Club, i will keep you updated as i find out more.

Was in Jaco 6 mos ago and returing soon. Stayed at the Cocal hotel. Stumbled out of the room at 6 am one morning. Walked to the corner heard music took a right and found this bar/something with a bunch of locals. Bought a girl a beer. A hefty black woman comes to me sez you want her?

I said sure and she even added in another local girl just for fun. They stayed till noon.

I tried to find the place the next day and was not sure exactly what place it was. There was a place set off the street with a pool table etc. Was this place Pancho Villi's?

Any special action at this club in back rooms, private rooms or is the BB and MB better?

I spent 7 days in Jaco two weeks ago and most of the good looking girls were in the Beatle Bar. There as at least 2 women to every guy so you can be picky on the type of girl that you go with.

On monday Tuesday and Wednesday you can negotiate lower prices quite easily $60 - $70. Don't just give them the $100 that some of them ask for as they will be back the next night to try again.

The polica have been in there a couple of time while I was there looking for women with out proper papers and a passport. So the number of women goes up and down as some leave " involuntarily "and new ones come in on the bus.

Had one from Nicaragua with the name of Rachel " black hair" one night and she was a handful. I'm thinking of coming back for a week before Christmas to check the action out again. So if you run into here let me know.

As for Divas I found it kind of dead and over priced. I had way more fun at the Beatle Bar and Pancho Villa's. As its way cheaper to buy them a drink at the beatle bar and most of the girls used rooms in the small hotel that is next door.

The Highseason or Dry Season is in full swing here. Which means more tourist and Mongerers, which means more chicas. as in my previous post, i see new faces in the bar's and around Jaco in General most everyday. Thursday, Friday and Saturday being the busiest. This last weekend Visited the BB and by the time a left around 11pm, it was wall to wall people and some of the girls dancing on the bar. So the action is good.

As for clothing, i live in the Jaco area. The Tempatures is usually in the 80's to low 90's throughout the day and may drop to the low 70's in the evening and very humid. Shorts, t-shirts and the occassional dress shirt fit most occassions .San Jose is a different story, its much cooler there. Usually 70's daytime and has dropped down lately to the upper 50's in the evening. so if you are spending any time in San Jose , you may require a pants, and a thin Jacket. Hope this helps.

Also never been in CR in December, what is the weather like as far as temperatures. Do not want to pack for specific weather and not have the right clothes.

I do not know of any others in Jaco sorry, i think Dpulfo's is the only choice.They opened or are getting ready to open a new place within a block of the Beatle Bar called Secret Society i don't know exactly what it is but the word around here is that its going to offer Wet t-shirt contest and oil wrestling, but that is only rumor.
The high season has just kicked in here and to say the least the girls are out in full force. News faces almost every night in BB, Monkey and Nacho daddy's and around Jaco in general.

Nothing new to report, visited the Beatle Bar Wednesday night, it was very crowded for a Wednesday, also went to the "Backyard" it was ladies night about 11pm and it was dead so headed back to the BB. Probadly 2 chicas per male there so the odds were in our favor so it was easy to negociate a lower price.

My friend and I took two Colombians to the motel next door for an hour, Set each of us back $80 (each) including rooms. Service was good and the room was actually very clean and nice. It had AC, king size bed with fresh sheets what else do you need, I was pleased. I would recommend it to anyone.

Sorry nothing more to report. I am still looking into the place from my previous post. Maybe a interesting alternative to the norm.
