Hello everyone! I'm planning my first solo trip to Jaco and looking for guest-friendly, quieter accommodations near Cocal. Is staying at Cocal recommended, and is it noisy there? I've also got a rental car deal but considering hiring a driver for my first time in Costa Rica. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Not able to see anything explicitly mentioned here about how many pops included in the 30 minutes for most girls.

Looks like the standard rate is $60 for 30 min. Do chicas typically let you go the full time regardless of finishing early?

If you are talking about the massage places I would imagine one would be normal, if you expect or want more than one in a 30 min session you would need to specify or negotiate that. As to your second question that would vary. Just ask for a bit more massage if you popped early. They are not likely to kick you out after 10 minutes if you paid for the basic half hour, but you may need to communicate that.

Are there still a lot of baddies available.

I'm there twice per year, and always go for a week to 10 days. One can always find gals during the week Sun-Thurs, but the numbers are just lower. So rather than have 100-150 girls on a weekend, there may be 50-60 that come through. The key is not too go to late nor too early. There are still enough to find one you like, I have never had an issue during the week finding a good one.

Most all of the massage parlors will have the girls out on the sidewalk hawking for clients. While I have no direct experience myself, I know of a few gents who inquired about "extra services" and received them for compensation. It never hurts to ask, right? You can also check out the CR Skokka ads for massage services, to see if there is anything posted there.

I go down at least twice a year and stay at a perfect girl friendly place right in the center of the action. PM me for details. Remember the massage parlor girls will happily come to you! Of course you can't be staying at one of the gated condo communities with the 24/7 guard cause theyll never let her in. Neither will Crocs or Best western.

One of my favorite things to do when walking the main strip is check out the many massage parlor girls who are ready to jump all over you just like Bangkok. I walk up one side the street, then back the other so I see them all. When one catches my eye I get her name and number, which is the number of the massage place.

I keep this in reserve for nights that I don't want to go out to Cocal, G spot, orange bar, republik etc all the places. I call up and get her to come over whenever. Typically I'll drink a few glasses of wine and have a bottle of Fireball Whiskey ready (very popular with all the girls). I'll get a massage, typcically 40, and then extras, 125. They all, I mean all, offer extras. Never had one who didn't. A great way to mellow out after 10 hours on zoom, its the real carrot on the stick that gets you through the workday. The true reward.

-The girls will start high and most will ultimately settle for lower, rather than " stand around all night". It's always a good idea to discuss what you're paying for so there are no surprises. NEVER PAY UPFRONT! You may also consider to ask her if she has any "extras"; which will cost more.

-Jaco is typically a safe place, though there are some sketchy types outside the gates who know there are gringos inside who have cash on them. Keep your whits and don't get so sloppy drunk that makes you a target.

-If you make a connection and take a girl to wherever you're staying, don't let your guard down to valuables in your room or the potential that a girl could slip something into your drink.

I have never felt like a piece of meat before, and it was kinda fun.

The second I walked in, I was groped, tugged, and forced to grab by the girls there.

My airbnb didn't allow guest, but according to some of the girls, they said it wouldn't be a problem. They mentioned they can talk to the security guard. You can also rent a room for 40 at Cocal for the duration if you don't already have a place.

Most were asking for 200 but there is room to haggle. Snagged a couple between 100-150.

I would totally go back for a boys trip when the wives are away.
