you still can't receive any private messages....until you get more reports 'under your belt'. but here is a good answer to your question about where to find gals during the daytime in jaco.

nearly all the p4p....thats play 4 pay gals will be staying and sharing very small studio apartments in the heart of jaco....which will be centered around the colonial restaurant & down the street a block or so- the mas y menos supermarket area....you will find it- no problem..... on the main drag about 7-8 blocks south of the beatle bar.

here is a good tip -

these girls do not want to have to stay in their crowed (as they may be sharing this single room with 2-3 other girlfriends....so they will usually get up in the morning around 9-10-11 am and roam around the streets of jaco....just to get out of the small apartment and then also to kill some time until it is time to 'go back to work' in the bars and clubs of jaco.

the girls gotta eat too....and there are many, many small eating places (little restaurants ) rep001tered all around jaco.
be there at lunch time....see a girl coming for lunch....chat her up & go from there.........this is another tip that has worked for me.

you make eye contact with them as they walk by.....and it is nt trick at all to say hello to them as they walk by, and then when you find one you like...you invite her to sit down with you for a drink.

and usually at that time of the day it would be a coke or orange juice....which is a cheap price for an introduction to meet them.

(((( speaking of that.....i hear now that the 'new owners' of the beatle bar are now charging a cover charge for guys to get in....what a shame.....as it was always free like for the last umpteen years.....

when you find a nice one....start talking to her.....spanish helps....but most of them will understand quite a bit of english.
chat them up....get their phone number....they all have cell phones.....and when you find one you want to have 'carnal knowledge with' ask her price , and if you think it is reasonable and she is 'a hot mama'....then go for it......and hop into a taxi and go straight to your hotel for a 'nooner.

this has worked for me many, many times....and it is often lots cheaper getting the same quality of sexo during an early afternoon session than it would be to " do " the same girl by finding her in one of the bars or clubs at night.

what should you pay???? they will usually ask $ 100.00 at night from the beatle bar....but you should be able to bargain them down to around $ 50.00. to 60.00 for an hour session.

daytime....can be a bit cheaper......maybe $ 30-40.00 - especially if they don't have to go to far to your hotel....or if they had had a bad night at the beatle bar the night before, and need to make some quick money during the day.

and believe me.....money talks loud in jaco as anywhere else in central america !

often times there will be 80 or more gilrs working in & out of the beatle bar in an evening....and there may only be 25-30 gringo (guys) there....so do to very stiff competition among the girls........many of those girls will not 'score' anything that night....and will go home 'empty handed'.....no dinero.

this may be true especially with the marginally attractive or perhaps chubby type girls......the good lookers always score first....and probably most too......that is rule # 1 in the jungle.

be careful of girls on the fringe....those who are walking the streets at night within a block or so of the clubs and bars like the beatle bar....there is a reason they are not in the bar or club working...and that is usually because they do not have a current good health card...or the are a transvesti - transvestite - (a chick with a dick.....bummer)), or that they have been banned from the beatle bar (for example) for bad behavior or stealing and been caught...that sort of thing.

just in general be careful and use your head......mainly the big one on your shoulders....and you should be ok.

on the bus from sj to jaco.....

it is not a hassle at all. go to the coca cola bus station.....get a ticket to jaco....if memory serves it was about $ 4.00....and go. just keep a close watch on your baggage / belongings...as they ( local ticos) will take your stuff if you are not guarding it carefully. if you have luggage you can usually get a stub from the bus driver and put it in the compartments below.....but check at each stop and make sure your baggage does not " walk away" with a tico....who says it is his......i like to keep all my bags on the rack above my head or in the seat right next to me...that way i know they are safe and secure.

as an alternative to the more crowed and less comfortable public buses running between sj and jaco......(but really for only a 2-3 hour trip- they are not bad at all ) you can take an 8-10 passenger, air conditioned, mini van that will pick up up at any hotel in sj and take you to jaco in a little more comfort...price runs about $ 20-25.00 one way for this.
call inter bus or grey line or ask at any hotel desk ( your hotel will make the reservation for the next day for you....but with only room for 8-10 passengers- many times they fill up quickly ....so do not wait until the last minute for this...get your reservation first)........for info, pickup times and prices on this service. you will usually need a reservation for a trip on inter bus or grey line....and they will drop you off in jaco at almost any point of your choosing....say in front of the beatle bar, or a hotel where you have reserved a room or at the main public bus station if you desire....and it is about 7-8 blocks north of the beatle bar and the downtown area.

From my experience traveling around Costa Rica :


I have noticed that there are lots of gals who travel back and forth between San Jose and Jaco Beach.

You will see certain gals in the Del Rey during the week and then when you go to the beach in Jaco on the weekend.....you will also see the some of the same gals there at the Beatle Bar.

Many of them travel back and forth......

There are cheap little apartments in Jaco and some of the girls pair up with 2-3 of them sharing a small apartment and the costs in Jaco......and I suppose the out-of-towners (like from Colombia, the Dominican, Panama, etc) also do the same in San Jose.

So do not be very much surprised to see some of the same gals 'from the Del Rey/Blue Marlin' in San Jose.....who will then show up in Jaco later. It's only about a $ 3.00 - 4.00 bus ride for them to go back and forth.

If you also take the bus - like I do-----most times from San Jose to Jaco....back and forth.....then if you are observant - it is not too difficult to spot the 'working girls' while on the bus. Sometimes one can casually chat them up while on the bus trip..... other times - they will pretend not to know what you are talking about - while on the bus - they know who you are....and they know what they are....but they do not want the other passengers on the bus to know what is going on with them.

But with a little experience - it is pretty easy to spot a 'working girl' even when she is 'out of her element'.

My trip in late Aug went great. Spent 5 nights at the Sportsmans Lodge. Quite nice and convenient. met with on or two gals a day and they were also very nice. Kept the price at $50 and didn't barter. Early and late are the best times. Picked up a couple at the DR and brought them back which was fine with them AND me. LOL!!!!

Also spent 3 nights in Jaco looking at real estate. Still looking serios at some of the condos for sale around 45K to 70K. Small, simple, secure and they rent out for around 500 to 600 a week when I'm not there AND only a block from the beach. Any warnings out there??

I didn't make it to the Beatle Bar! Damn! However, going back Oct 1st for another trip. I WILL check out the Jaco chicas on that trip. Hope they're as nice as the SJ chicas.

Also, maycheck out the Castillo as it is in a good location and quite a bit cheaper. Thanks for the info! Keep it coming!

Where to stay in Jaco Beach:

Maybe not the very best place to stay in Jaco Beach....but certainly inexpensive, and very close to the action.......aka being The World Famous Beatle Bar......the very epicenter of action in Jaco.



Los Four Grandes Hotel....aka The Beatle Bar Hotel...
.........right next door to the Beatle Bar.....chica friendly ( I have never had a problem or question about having as many girls brought up to the room- threesomes OK .....differng girls at different times.....all OK ), and last time I stayed there...the discount price for a big king sized suite with a king bed in the main room, and then another double bed in another small room (all together in the same suite)....was about $ 35.00 a night. You can bunk up with a buddy and you can share the price.....two separate sleeping quarters in the same suite.
Regular price for these rooms is about $ 60.00 a night...but this is Low Season....and they will rent for 1/2 price (usually) this time of year.

(( On my last trip there in Oct. 2008......I met a buddy who was sort of cheap......... to get and pay for his own hotel room at this hotel........he lived way down the road somewhere else......so I would let him take girls up to my room at the Los Four Grandes Hotel - while I mongered down at the Beatle Bar.....and he would in turn buy me drinks at the Beatle Bar for the night......good deal for him....as I only drank Coka Colas...so he got off real cheap. )) But my point is that this a great setup for two guys.....who are getting girls from the Beatle Bar......no taxis, no traveling back to your other hotel.....way down the road......no problems.....clean and quick !

I think this hotel also has a website too.....so you could make reservations....but this time of year....you perhaps won't need to reserve....they should have vacancies......

You can't be any closer to the action that this......and all the rooms are up on the second floor......so you do have some privacy up there......and they usually have a security guard after dark who stays in the office.

Pretty good, inexpensive place to stay in Jaco.

River54.......My advice : You will be able to do better than staying at the Presidente in San Jose. They are very expensive, not particulary chica friendly...they now have a dress code for the girls....etc.......( in reality ) they really no longer want the monger's business..........

I recommend the following hotels in San Jose:

Hotel Castillo......about 5-6 blocks from the Del Rey Hotel, or the Sportsman's Lodge.....just around the corner from the Castillo. Take a taxi after dark to and from town....but OK to walk during the daytime.


( You will perhaps need a reservation....both hotels have websites ).

Both great hotels to stay in......and a far better alternative to the Presidente......in my opinion. Been there - done that.....many, many times !

On bringing gifts for the girls......they almost all like some 'regals dinero"....little free gifts.

It has skyrocketed in the last couple of years......you used to be able to buy a nice big, desirable, beach front lot in Jaco for perhaps $ 15,000 - 20,000.00
.....not anymore.....now they are asking $ 100.000.00 to 200,000.00 USD and up......... for them.

My Advice.......go someplace else to buy property in CR.........



One final thought........The van load of girls deal.......sounds like you are trying to 'carry coals to New Castle'.......which is a literary reference about bringing Coal from England to another location - which already has the 'motherloade of Coal......( not necessary) - why import gals from San Jose to Jaco Beach....and have to pay for their transportation there and back, plus their lodging and food.....and then pay them for their company too.......when the buses are already full of them everyday traveling back and forth between San Jose and Jaco..........

Ok, here's how it works. Many of the van drivers can make these arrangments for you. Chances are, if you are going to CR, you will need to arrange for a van to drive you from SJO to either Jaco, Herradura, Quepos, or where-ever.

Most of these drivers know girls (friends, relatives, associates) that will work "extra" jobs to make serious spending $. Call them a few weeks ahead of time and tell them what you want. (The real saavy drivers speak English).

Tell them you want fun girls, not those that work at the bars, but local girls who aren't too shy, love to party, and speak English if needed. Be as descriptive as possible. BTW if you want, ask for girls w/no kids. Harder to find, but sometimes are worth it!

In my place (sleeps 6-8), we ask Jose to bring us a van full and we audition them and split the girls up based on personality. Best rate is about $100/day plus tip.

Last phone # I had for Jose was +011-(506)8354-0152. If that doesn't work, try a googlesearch "Driver Costa Rica". Guys who have their own personal web sites will hook you up, cause they are after the big Gringo Propina (tip). Tell your driver the better the girls, the better his tip.

Here's a tip from a local Gringo. Some CR cops are running a DUI scam. They'll set up a traffic stop between the bars in town (e. G. Jaco) and the condos that cater to Gringos.

They rig the breath-a-lyzer to read high, so you blow over the legal limit (.08). Then they'll explain you have two options: Spend the night in jail and pay $50 to a judge tomorrow, or pay an on-site fine of $100 (cash).

I was stopped, and kindly explained to the officer I would be happy to blow, right after he did. Thus proving the machine was calibrated.

He blew (0.00), then I did (0.00), and he smiled and waved adios. (I had a few drinks earlier, but the machine didn't pick them up.)

I have owned a place in Costa Rica for about 5 years. As an avid hobbiest, I am happy to share a few of my personal observations about the local scene.

Beatle Bar: Most of the girls are from Dominica, Columbia, Nicaragua, and on the weekends a lot of Costa Ricans (Ticas) will come in for extra cash. Most are single moms (no viable child support exists in Latin America).

Most will ask for $300/night (todas noche), and can be negotiated to $150-$200/night depending upon how close to closing time it is. But you'll only get 2 pops (1 in the PM and 1 in the AM) and they'll expect breakfast. All will ask for an extra Propina (tip) AND cab fare. Best to make sure your deal is negotiated "all in" up front. If you want to go for the hourly, you can negotiate $50-$100, but you'll probably get the rush session.

BBBJ is rare, have to ask up front. DFK also rare. If you contract for an hour, many girls will try to leave after 1 pop, regardless of whether or not time is up.

You can take girls back to the condos at Los Suenos, note the security staff will keep their IDs and ask them to sign in. (A common ritual, be not alarmed.) The Mariott is not as girl-friendly.

Be aware of the street girls hanging out just north of the Beatle Bar offering BJ for $10-$50. That's the cross dresser hangout. You will also see them in Punteranas at the highway intersection hitching rides to Jaco. (Note the Adam's apple).

Alternative: A lot of local girls are willing to see you on the "side" for substantially less money. You can arrange for a van load of girls to audition for you and your crew, starting at $80-$100/day, for a up to a week. They will be your companions, GFEs, (novia). A little sweetness, get to know you time, a few small gifts and you can have a true GFE for the week. A $20-$50/day tip is good at the end of the week, plus cover their transportation. Most will come from their home towns via the bus, or maybe a private van.

Most have other jobs so arrangements must be made in advance. You'll need a local contact ahead of time to assist, the transportation guys are a good place to start.

They girls will be with you as long as you want, and plan to tip them according to their performances. If you don't like them, ask your concierge guy to replace them.

I found that with most girls, you could get 2 hours for $75, but they would mostly start at $150-200. Never paid over $100. There were 3-4 girls there that were 'knock your socks and underwear off' gorgeous, that I could not get any lower than $200. They did not get my money. If you want them for the night, I recommend making the deal after the 2 hours and just offer another $75-100 depending on how late it is.

Careful Jaco guys it's a shithole a friend of mine who lives there told me It's not what it used to be, muggings, assaults, robberies.
Since Colombian influence the place is dangerous, a few years ago they assassinated a guy in the disco La central inside the washroom at night with people inside.

Found an adult only hotel on internet; Copacabana http://www.copacabanahotel.com. $100 us including tax. There is actually a sign right as you walk in; Adults only allowed beyond this point.
