Two, I took to a nice restaurant bought the dinner and drinks (her share set me back a whopping $30-40) and paid her about $100. Those were by far my best experiences. Though I hate to use the term. 95% of the working girls here are simply ratchet (I'm old, the term used to be ghetto). I grew my broke ass up in Oakland, worked my ass off, got three degrees raised two daughters as a single dad and now own a successful business. I've left all that shit behind.
This place is like walking down East 14th Street on a Saturday night (without the shootings). I like slutty women, I don't like trashy women. I've been there, done that.
I won't be back.

My Peru experience, we went dancing made out all night at the discotecas everyone knew but me and no one said a word. Back in the room it was a shock. We went to a short-term hotel, so I just got dressed and left. I just want to ensure that was a once in a lifetime experience.
I'm probably the most gay friendly person in the world now, because of it. I was someplace where no one knew me, no one but me would have known and just the thought grossed me out. I realized then that it's just how we are wired. So, if a guy like a guy or a woman likes a woman, it's not something that can be fixed..it's just how they are wired.

I see you are paranoid about lady boys. Seen only one in Sosua in 12 years. Never the less when a chica gives you a low price you should be weary. When they are that desperate anything can happen. The promise of everything for a low price is the prelude to a scam. Contrary to some others opinions you get what you pay for. Low ball pussy is rarely worth the price.

One place, I couldn't tell you the name of we took a cab and I have absolutely no clue where I was at. For the others,to make it simple, go down Pedro Clisante, in the opposite direction from the Strip. Smileys is the first one you want to look at. Its mainly lesbian Haitians and expats. There is always music and dancing and the lesbians will dance with you. If you've never been to a gay bar, be respectful most of them appear to have girlfriends. You probably don't want to get into a fight there. After Smiley's for about half a mile there are about 6-8 places that do not cater to Americans. Except for the Strip Club which is inside the "Adult" resort. The last one is NYC drink. If you're walking absolutely do not go past there. Also, there is a stretch of about 100 yards on that strip that you need to watch yourself on (if you're walking). It looks a little darker than normal, but I immediately noticed the Dominicans passing through moved from the sidewalk to the middle of the street.
In Puerto Plata, there is good nightlife on the Malecon..do not call it the maricon like I accidentally did.

Posts: 173So where was thsi place that dominican go to and was this as ucces on hobbying there?
I won't be back for reasons I'll list below. Hasn't been a horrible trip, wasn't a great one. Did get out of Sosua for a bit, more importantly, I found some places where Dominicans go. After several days in Sosua, I was completely blown away at how "conservative" many Dominican women are. I think I was so used to hookers wiggling their asses in the middle of the street, that I forgot normal women here don't do that.

Posts: 109My time in Sosua is coming to a close.

I even found a strip club. 300 pesos cover. But I was completely clueless on what to tip. I was doing hundreds, but realized it was a like $1. 70. That's more than at home.
I'm sitting in a bar and will post more later. I'll just give a few highlights.
I had 4 women try and rob me on Thursday. They surrounded me and started grabbing at me. I put hand on my wallet and the other on my phone (in my pockets) and pushed past them. Last night, they tried the same thing. On the main drag. I walked to a darker area and they ran up behind me and tried the same thing. I had to get a tiny bit physical (NEVER lay your hands on a woman here) but it came close as they weren't backing off.
At 3 am, I had a offer of 1500 and she'd let me come in her mouth or 2000 and she'd let me come in her ass. I spent a few minutes looking at her closely, she was probably in her 30's and reasonable looking. Too reasonable looking for offering ass at 2000. I already had my "Crying Game" experience in Peru and have zero desire to pull down some woman's pants and find a dick. The fact that she didn't mention pussy at all was what had me walk away.
Immediately another woman showed up and offered whatever I wanted for 2000. At this point I'm on alert. She said she'd show me photos and then showed me a bunch of topless photos of herself. All with bottoms on. Again, my spidey-sense was like "no". So, I went home alone.
Well. Almost alone. I had some chica that was sure that I'd take her back to my place once she gave me an offer. She was definitely a (ugly) woman. I told her about 8 times I wasn't interested and she followed me for 6 blocks yelling "Beibeeee" at me until I got to my condo.
I list my reasons for not coming back in another report..these chicas think since I'm texting and not looking at the that I'm videoing them.

Posts: 109I sort of feel like a little btch now because I complained about my issues here and a local took me out last night (well, I paid, but you get the idea). Danced my ass off, met non hookers / semi pros that were actually able to pretend they were interested in more than my wallet. He explained that I need to watch the women and reject the ones that look like trouble. I've been doing this 30+ years. I know this. I may have gotten soft. Actually had dinner with someone today that was basically begging me to fuck her. I will but not tonight. I'm back in control, this will be a good trip.
For those that asked. I like light skinned, flaquitas. Here they are a pain in the ass. Had a dark skinned Haitian (flaquita). Not a problem.

23 year old guy who has been here in Sosua for over a week now. I've had some good experiences but after being here in sosua for over a week I did notice some small issues. Basically, if you want to stay here more than a week you will definitely need a car otherwise you will get bored. By the 4th day of being here I got tired of having to walk around everywhere and just started only going out to eat for lunch and ordering food online on the food delivery app for dinner. Have met some great expats and gained important knowledge from them.
The experience with the chicas was way better than my 1st trip but idk I've realized Sosua isn't a long term solution to my situation. Sosua is great for quick trips but if you feel like you need something more fullfilling long term it's probably not for you. The chicas were great but I think not being able to connect with them on emotional level much due to the language barrier can make things with them just feel strictly physical and not emotional at all which can leave to a somewhat empty feeling (at least for me).
At the end of the day though Im so glad I did this trip. The experience I had here would never ever be possible in the states due to p4p being illegal and 100x more expensive.

Hey, sorry to hear you are going through that, from social media, YouTube and boots on the ground alone I heard this is becoming way more common. These mangos don't know shit like that can actually destroy a lot of people lively hoods. I'm curious to know was it the light skin (indigenous mixed ones) you had this experience with if so. There's plenty of videos on YouTube and social media advising you to avoid them because of drama and rushed services.

For $10 you can get a bus to almost any where on the Island. Santiago has Uber and very nice low cost Airbnb. Not to mention great dance clubs and restaurants. Santo Domingo has nice high rise Airbnbs and malls with good uber service. You find all types of dance clubs and casinos. You can have an awesome time in the DR if step out just a little. Sosua has its place but the DR has much more to offer then Sosua. Like you I love dancing and the authentic food. Sometimes you have to go where it is. Lastly the women in both places are hot but require a bit more work. If you can dance you are way ahead of most guys. Seeing new site is exciting for me.

Posts: 109Yes. I used to come here years ago with my S. O. It was very, very different. You had the chicas but there was also fun stuff I enjoyed. I'm a great salsa / merengue / Bachata dancer. Now every place plays rap...and not even good rap. They had good Dominican food. It wasn't all about getting laid. But if you wanted it, it was pretty easy.
Now, all of restaurants cater to American tourists. I shouldn't have to go to five or six places to find red beans and rice. And I shouldn't never be looked at strangely when I'm actually ordering Dominican food. I rarely even hear Merengue here and I have to go to Blue Ice (a rip off tourist trap) to actually dance with someone. I'm seriously disappointed right now and I have 8 more days to go. Shit...I live in Seattle and figured I'd at least get some sun. Nope.
