    George03's Blackbeaards report

Good report, George. Helpful to those contemplating a trip.

    Blackbeard's June

I made my first trip combined with Sosua (see report in that forum).

I got in on a Saturday about 2 pm and checked in. I found out the Bikini Show would be around 5. I didn't see but one or two girls at the time. I went to the room and took a nap, then I came out, girls had starting to arrive, some as it turned out where the second shift, not necessarily the contest girls. The show was pretty impressive, about 15 very attractive girls. Mostly in Bikinis, some giving table dances to the judges. It was fun to watch, maybe a little too long. After the show, it looked like most of the contestants didn't stay, but I did see a couple around the next day.

After the show, I selected Chanti. She was very beautiful, dark curly hair about 5'1" and petite. She wasn't very talkative going to the room, so I thought it might not be that great, but I was ready anyway. Even though it is posted that short time (up to two hours) is $1800 pesos, she tried to quote $2500. I showed the book price to her, told her I would give $2000. I would have giving more as a tip if you hadn't tried this. Anyway, the session started slow and uninspiring, but it got better. She had a firm and lean body, perky, B's and smooth skin, no sign of childbirth. I think she said she was 20. She gave BBBJ, as they all did, the several positions. She got hornier the longer we went. I had her lay on her side, which felt real tight, the stop. She actually stayed to snuggle and smiled some. Non English. Cleaned up, she showered, then I walked her down.

A few hours later, a selected Rachelle. (not sure about these names). She was short, darker complected, probably Haitian. About 5', maybe a little mommy tummy, but pleasant. Pretty well toned.

She did BBBJ, multiple positions, I finished with HJ. Food. Drink, then sleep.

The next day, Sunday. I had breakfast. Only one or two girls early. I took a late afternoon nap, then the second shift came in. Several that caught my eye, but there was one that I saw watch the contest the day I was hoping to make connections with. She had a asian looking face, a round butt and nice full breasts. Probably 34 'Cs. She was probably less that 5', very muscular, you could tell she did squats, and worked with weights. Her name was Jina, I think firm tummy, a little childbirth scarring. Firm and muscular legs. She had a scar near her ankle, looked like a shark bite or something, I didn't ask. She said she was about 27.

She was by far the best on this trip. Very pleasant, enjoyed the sex, not rushed, great BBBJ. Multiple positions, I finished in doggie. I would have been happy to have her the whole time. She also spoke fairly good English.

Later in the evening, I saw a cutie, Adile, I think. Very pretty, toned arms, dark curly hair to shoulders, about 5'2". Multiple positions, BBBJ, but I couldn't finish. She could go a little deeper on the BJ, but she was disappointed that she couldn't make me finish. I need a day or rest sometimes.

Overall, I wish I had stayed at Blackbeard's a few more days. I like Sosua, but most of these girls are an 8 or above. Usually around 8 girls during the days during my stay, about 15 or so in the evening, even on Sunday. I didn't really get around town much for restaurants, what I had at Blackbeard's was pretty good. There are some things about Sosua that I like outside of the girls, good restaurants, bars, etc. But I definitely liked it here and would want to spend a few more days. The beach is nice, except for all the trash the locals can't throw away. The bar stays open until 11 or 12, the music stops at 11 pm So it is quiet at night. The rooms are clean, mostly older white guys hanging around.

Posted prices $1800 short time. $3300 all night.

Massage was $1000 I think, pretty good.

    Thanks.

I once saw the posted exchange rate at the hotel, and it was 5% less than Jenny's. I confess that I didn't ask if payments to the hotel were any better. But considering that the pesos I bought were going to be spent there anyway, it didn't occur to me that there would be any other rate.

    Gracias.

They have 2 rates at BB.

As was mentioned in another post, carrying large amounts of cash anywhere in the DR is not a good idea, but hell, taken to an extreme, you'd never leave the house.

I'm not advocating walking the streets with hundreds of dollars. The short distance from the hotel to the store is about 400 yards. Going directly from point to point in the middle of the day is not like trolling the alleys of Sosua at night with big bills hanging out of your pocket. If you're the nervous type, take a motoconcho (motorbike taxi) from the hotel to the store for about 2 bucks.

My very good friend Randy is in Bourginal hospital as I write this recovering from five stab wounds he received when he refused to hand over about a 1000 pesos and a cheap piece of crap flip phone. To each their own.
Umm, so take a cab 400 yards to Jenny's to change money?

Just my experience, I guess. As I mentioned before, if the person asking is nervous about carrying cash, stop at Jenny's immediately upon arrival in Costambar. Have the cab wait for you. Change the cash, go back directly to the cab, and he will drop you off at the front door. Once there, walk around the area and get a feel for your self what the level of security is.

If you are nervous, upon just arriving in DR from the airport, simply get out of the taxi, when you enter Costambar and pass Jenny's on the right. Tell someone inside you want to change money. (Quiero cambiar dinero) and get back in the cab to BB. And remember, the store is a leisurely 5 minute walk from the hotel.

Believe me, Costambar is a sleepy little community, not an urban jungle, and I have never had a problem when I went back to change more money.

Shout out to others: any board posters with experience there, please chime in on your experience with changing money.

Is Jenny's safe to exchange a lot of cash?

Its pretty sensible if you think about it. If you can't manage your spending well, it ensures your room is paid for, without resorting to cash machines, an extra 20% with credit cards, etc. I always paid for my room upon arrival, and one less thing to think about. $300 upon arrival for several days is not a big deal.

It also protects them, in case some guy gets a burr up his butt and decides to leave early, leaving them with a vacant room, and no time to fill it with another guest, or has trouble with his credit card, etc. Everyone has their own ways, but I usually just carried cash, traveled straight from the airport to Costambar, and after a quick stop to change money, to the hotel. Once in my room, the cash stayed in the room safe, and taken out for changing to pesos as needed during my stay.

That might sound like a stupid question, but the wording used is not exactly clear. If I get a higher end room am I expected to pay near 300 US cash upon arrival. Clarification would be appreciated.

Yes, you pay for the full amount upon checking in at BB. I usually exchange US $ to pesos at Yennys just inside the gates of Costambar & pay in pesos at BB to save some. I usually exchange about $1000 at a time there, no problem.

Sounds good, but question about cash upon arrival

Cut the losses with the former, and concentrate on the latter. That is why trip reports should ALWAYS include the name of the chica. A review of a nameless chica does me little good.

As I said earlier, when you arrive, settle in, get comfortable, and if your Spanish is limited, talk to the chica that manages the others, explaining what you want. Without explaining, girls presume you want the "usual" but would be more than happy to go with massage, feet, etc. I really think you'll have no problems. Trust me, these girls have heard far worse requests than a foot fetish. For a relative newby, with limited Spanish, this is my recommendation.
