Current prices for one pop are $3000 pesos. The hotel will send a price list for overnight, 2 girls, etc. I believe other specialties might be set up through the mamasan.

So that is like 30 bucks I think 1700 is 20 bucks ruffly.

Thanks. This was in reference to / from the cruise port, not the airport. I'm hoping it's a cheaper ride than $50, unless that is the round trip price.

The cruise port is closer to Blackbeards than the airport. It is only a 15 minute ride. Uber shows $3. 50 or 200 pesos. They may try to hit you with a gringo jack tax though the same as he is saying $50 from the airport for a $10 ride.

Hotel shuttle from POP to BB's is about $50, less if you share. It was nice to have someone waiting with a sign. The touts and unofficial drivers & moneychangers pawing at you are a bit much. No clue where you connect to an Uber on arrival.

If you go anywhere local needing a car, use Uber. BB's fleet of waiting cabbies overcharge horribly.

But, heading back to the airport, particularly STI, take a BB car. Uber drivers won't budge unless you pay an extra $100 USD "for fuel. ".

Could not be any worse than the $40 extra charge to be at the airport with a sign with your name on it. $10 Uber or $50 ride + sign. Hmmm.

Girls seem to prefer pesos.

I looked it up but didn't find anything definitive. But from what I did see, I'm guessing it could be up to $25. Not too cheap. But, I'm only looking at the positives. I'm going to get there, see what it's like. (This is my first visit there.) If I don't like it, I've only invested a few hours. But if all goes well, I'll likely be back for a week in a couple months.

That said, I got to admit. The girls that are in the newsletter just don't do it for me. The vast majority do not draw my interest. Don't get me wrong, all of them are better looking than I deserve. But going for such a short time, especially during the day in the middle of the week, I know I'll need a good bit of luck on my side.

Funny you mention that. I've also been looking at the girls in the newsletter and I do see some that I'd like to see. But my ship is going to be in port from 9 to 3, so I'm planning to show up at BB around 11. My guess is the best looking girls probably show up much later. Like you, this will be a nice way for me to feel things out. I'm looking at another cruise in December that will stop at PP and St. Marteen, so I'll be looking to double dip on that trip.
