The best style of room IMO. Very comfortable. Air, Cable, WiFi were all excellent by DR standards. The pool is still awesome (and the girls got in the pool sometimes. Also a product of the hot weather). Tim and Nico were top notch. They lined me out with cabs when I needed them, laundry, etc. The mama-sans are stellar. I believe they are the reason the girls are so awesome in terms of friendliness and overall attitude.

I ain't going to lie. I spent a lot of cash down there. I was very generous with the girls as far as spending time with them, drinks, etc. And I try to tip the staff well, even though they include some tipping on your bills. But I do alright for myself financially, and I brought the money down there to spend and treat everyone right. I was very happy with my stay and I believe in rewarding good service.

Overall, Awesome time. The place fits what I like perfectly. My next trip to the DR will most likely be a Sosua / BB's combo trip for a change of pace. But I'll do another long visit soon enough.

If you want stay on the grounds and do nothing but drink and bang chicas. You can do that. If you want to explore and leave, go to Sosua, Puerto Plata, rent a car, go on a tour, whatever, you can do that. Why do other people care about what other people are doing, as long as you are having fun. Who gives a shit. If you try a place, and you don't like it don't go back. Good observation. I went there recently to take a look at the fabled place for the grand occasion of a contest and spent two hours. Just returned from a great trip to Blackbeard's Resort 7/23/ thru 7/30. As a couple we go usually 2-3 times a year. I know Blackbeard's is up for sale but there was no signs of panic or changes that we saw whatsoever. Our trip was just as enjoyable as our first trip back in 2008. Food was good, accommodations, no problems, had A-3 bikini room. Girls were decent, outside girls were allowed inwith proper cedula's. Made a date with a house girl that was later cancelled because she had been disciplined by the mamasan's for rule violations so she was replaced by another chica muy rapidono big deal. Plenty of chica's that will suite everyone's fancy. Couples should definitely give Blackbeard's a try. I have never once had anyone disrespect the wife in all of our visits. It's a good atmosphere.
