Just curious about the salaries: did he raise them to compensate for the lack of extra income for the ladies? I thought most income is derived from the extras, some girls tell me in other places they only get food / accommodation. A typical emotional plea for money, I guess, but still, it makes you wonder about their base salary.

You are correct, a lot of places do not give base salary. This one gives 1500 plus accommodation and commission on sales. Not forgetting tips, the 20's and 50's add up.
