Basically green, but got heavily annoyed by their night staff. Was checked-in with them. At around 2 am went from Tehran Club on the 5th floor to my room with a female companion. After reaching the room they rang me from the reception asking bothe of us to come down for visitor registration and payment of the extra charges. They must have had monitored us on video cameras when we moved from the club to the room. Methods of a totalitarian shithole banana republic. Then they asked me 200 Dhs visitor charges cash on the spot no setting on the bill, no credit card (see receipt as attachement to this post). Incredible blatant greediness of the Egyptian-Indian management of this establishment.

Anyone have experience staying here? As far as red / green? Tried to search through the forum and see only mentions of Hyatt Regency.

Note that reception may not always give you a correct answer about their visitor policy. Better to just take a room at Moscow Hotel or Capitol which are known to be green.

I would say if they said visitors not allowed then avoid it, maybe more strict during Ramadan or it is simply a red hotel.

Hi folk,
I am planning to stay in Mgallery The Canvas next week. So I emailed reception to get their policy on visitors. I got the reply that visitors are not allowed in the guest's room. Is this right?
From what I read here is that Moscow is inside the hotel, so visitors can go up to the guest's room.
Thanks in advance.

Hi.
My first time in Dubai. Booked Dusit Thani on sheikh zayed road near downtown.
Does this hotel allow guests in? If so what is the way to do it.
Thanks.

Anyone has any updates towards this aparthotel?
It used to be a well known place where many girls stayed at in Tecom.
I've been reading some reviews on Google about it and they seem to have some stupid rules.
I would like to know if anyone been there recently or visited some provider there and what's the policy there?
I'm trying to help an provider friend to find a secure place to stay at.
