Great news! Hope those bastards get deported. Such incidents keep us really disturbed as I can relate to your experience, as this had happened to me once but I managed to escape with just minor injuries from the African ladies trying to catch hold of my shirt and pulling me into the hotel room. I escaped by gods grace by probably a fraction of a second.

Phew!

Nice to know these miscreants are behind bars now.

Thank you sir for this necessary education. No one will write "Asian Scam" or "European Scam" just cause of bad experience few ladies. I have had my credit card stolen by a Pinay and lost 7 k on multiple airline tickets booked on my credit card next day. I had few hundred cash stolen by African. I had 200 dollars stolen by Thai lady in Pattayya. Many of us have been felt cheated on service especially CIS and Russian ladies.

They could say Latvian / Russian / UK / Nigerian etc scam instead or Filipina scam which I know has been used. But point taken.

What amazes me is you have a pinay steal a credit card and yet you don't cancel it immediately! I had mine disappear from a pick pocket once and when I realised 20 minutes later that the cards were gone they were cancelled 2 minutes after that.

But in the UAE everyone who bothers with RTFF and I know 95+% don't as think they are entitled to stuff would know about this problem more so as there is a separate thread on in documenting the number of times it has happened with huge warnings.

Thanks Gman for informing. Sad to hear No Frill is closing. Yours truly has named the place because of it's basic nature. YY has been my all time favorite, a real gem. Last, police does investigate these issues and arrest the robbers as reported here, and seemingly the defendant did not get arrested:
