no, it is not hopelessly naive. in fact it is call 'post exposure prophylaxis'. [CodeWord134] and wash with a lot of water is the least you can do after bb action. in those cases i use something much more effective than mouth wash. use a iodine based desinfecting salve. that made me survive the recent decades without major issues. i always have a iodine based desinfecting salve (betaisadona) and a fungicide salve with me on travel. no guarantees, of course, but doing some simple post exposure prophylaxis is better than just start sleeping and giving the germs many hours to replicate themselves.
