Nice Report Plush Tiger, happy that someone has visited and posted a review. I've only tried a few people there and prefer to stick my regulars since I had bad experiences. There are a few spas that promote foam massage which I figured would likely end up with both me and the provider naked (or near enough) with all the associated benefits so I decided to explore.

Booked a place in Karama which despite my best attempts to obtain photos, would only provide nationalities so I booked a Chinese provider sight unseen. Agreed 30 min massage 30 min foam bath for 130. The place is typical Karama, down market and small rooms. The masseuse was middle aged and overweight. Not a good start, however the massage quickly escalated to credit card swipes and then about 15 minutes of reach unders etc. On moving to the shower room for the foam bath she disrobed revealing an unappealing body. As expected the joint is at the other end of the spectrum compared to the infamous happy place or other so called EMPs for instance, both for the prices (50 dirhams for 30 minutes and FS 50 to 100) and the overall design but I have seen worse. Personally I never licked the idea of visiting an AMP or EMP for FS. If I want a pizza I don't go to burger king. There are plenty of options for FS out there in much more comfortable and suitable surroundings and with more variety. One has two reasons to visit a massage parlor. First and foremost. Being in need of a massage. That means if you are not interested in a massage, or you are with a girl who is humoring you with a lame back rub before a BJ, then you are kind of both wasting billable time. So this establishment has been on my list forever. Never had the chance to go mostly because of the distance.

Finally one weekend night I decided to try it. The area is JBR and Spa is located inside a 5 Star Hotel. Forget about the parking. It took me around 30 minutes to reach Marina from my place, but it took 40 minutes to reach the Hotel / Spa due to traffic. You can give your car to the valet and get the card stamped at the Spa reception otherwise they will charge you for parking. Mamasan will remind you about it.
