Please don't anyone bother to tell me to RTFF. The entire Abu Dhabi hotel section is just this one page compared to 100+ pages in the Dubai hotel section. Not much to read. My question is does anyone know if the Staybridge Inn on Yas Island is Green?

The Hilton Abu Dhabi on the Corniche is 100% green. I just walk right in with my 'guest' and no one has ever given us a second look. Stayed there 4 times over the last few months and never had a problem.

The St. Regis Abu Dhabi Corniche is green as of 19th Feb 2015.
The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort is green as of 22nd Feb 2015.
The Sheraton Abu Dhabi Corniche is green as of 28th Feb 2015.
All 3 hotels obviously have the same rules: If you enter the hotel with the girl, no one gives a damn. If the lady enters alone, she has to present original I'd.
For the St. Regis Abu Dhabi Corniche a room key is required to operate the elevator. That makes it pointless to ask the lady to come to your room.

Intercontinental Hotel has a nice new pool area, and nice cozy beach (not the best, but nice and cozy).

In the message from OzzyMate quoted by me below, there was also this info, I presume accurate as of May 2013 - hope this helps.
Yas Viceroy Hotel. Green. Stayed with a girl from UK after creamfields abu dhabi. 2 nights, awesome fun.
Park Rotana (khalifa park). Green. Won't go into details, but the girl was half arab / half indian, not a WG by any chance, just got lucky with her.
Fairmont Maqta Bridge. Green all the way.
Traders Hotel. Green if you and the girl can control it in a bit in the lobby.
Shangrila. Green all the way.

Posts: 52Shangri-La Qaryat Al Beri and / or other nice hotels near the Corniche
Hello everyone,
Due to LE apparently stopping me to use my favorite hotel in Dubai for our favourite pastime, (too bad!) I'm looking once again at the greener pastures of Abu Dhabi. In the past, someone did confirm the Shangri-La Qaryat Al Beri as green (my green: you walk in without needing to register your guest, anything else is at least yellow), but given recent changes it would be nice if someone could reconfirm. I think both Hyatt in Abu Dhabi are a no go as well as Emirates Palace (which was no go even a few years back) - any other places to avoid?
Generally hotels in Abu Dhabi were more amenable than their Dubai counterparts. The only two I've ever used so far are the Abu Dhabi Hilton, which was totally green, and the Hilton Baynunah where I arrived at check-in with a friend, and they didn't bother at all about her and just registered me (way to go! The Shangri La is nice and if green probably will be my first choice, but has anyone other ideas for a nice green hotel near the Corniche? There have been quite a few new openings, so any bit of information is welcome.
Many thanks,
Pelosky.
