Haven't used the Ritz for the hobby, but there is a garage you can park in and easily go up to your room once you have your key without having to interact with any guards or staff.

    Holiday Inn Downtown Abu Dhabi

Tried the hotel this week for a meet up. Green but you have to register your guest. I picked my date downstairs, and went straight up to the room, but was called by reception for the registration. They were very helpful, offered to come pick up the ID to complete the registration before bringing it back up to the room.

Got a good same day booking rate from rehlat.ae as well.

    The Ritz Abu Dhabi

This will be my first time venturing down to Abu Dhabi and not staying downtown. I won't be visiting until November, but I was wondering if anyone has stayed at the Ritz and if it's green? Thanks. This is great information. I saw them respond to the question on booking but seems the enforcement of that is not there.

    1. Yes most AD hotels are green but there are a select few that are NOT. Eg. Jannah. So best to confirm with hotel.

    2. Booking dot com has been extremely helpful for online research. Almost all hotels have Q&A (I'm using the app) and I've noticed "unmarried couple allowed" is a common question that's asked for each hotel.

    3. Beware of the walk of shame if that matters to you. Eg. In my case the layover hotel is provided by the airline and has a very high likelihood of having known people. Strongly contemplating finding a separate hotel, especially if the walk of shame is shorter / avoidable.

Now. I do have a question for folks here. The AD thread outlines the popular "takeout" locations. But is it a fair assumption that most 4-5 Star hotel bars will typically have a few takeaway WG options on hand?

I stay here every time and haven't found a reason to stop.
    Green all the way.

Want to avoid walk of shame? I don't care but if required.

    Park in basement.

    Check-in. Get two cards.

Pass it to girl waiting in car. And walk to lift separately.

    Enjoy.

    Bathtub in the bedroom itself.

Thanks Melman! My fights and hotel are now booked. I have just got back from Boots and got a new box on condoms and some lube. I also picked up a pack of blue pills from the Chemist. The only thing left to do is to book my fit to fly PCR test before I leave. I can't wait. I wish I was going now, the weather the UK is really crap now!

The 49 ers formerly located in Al Diar Dana moved in January 2020 to the LE Meridian Complex!

What Meridien is better in terms of location? LE Royal Mridien or LE Mridien? Both appear to be girl friendly so that is ok.

I am assuming being near the Corniche is the best place to be located given my limited time? Most of the day will be spent doing touristy stuff.

    Cheers.
