Try Dos Locos if it's still there. Owner used to be a working girl MANY years ago, and thereweare some free-lancers in there, and they were not Dominicans (in fact one I fucked was American, on the run from drug charges in Florida).

    Quepos

Quepos is ok, the short ride to Manual Antonio is nice and the beach in Manuel Antonio is gorgeous. As far as Chicas, I was outa there after a couple of days. No action unless you want to deal with some Dominicas. Not my cup of tea! No real beach in Quepos, you'll get eaten by Crocs, if you mess around there. Don't use the guy from the Best Western for a fishing trip. look some other place.

BED BUGS ' Hotel Sanchez, Quepos

**** woman as a receptionist as well. Bed Bugs, that means stay away.
    Received about 7 bites.

Lotsa Dominicanas at Bar Pescadores, next to Wacky Wandas, across from the casino at Best Western. Most quite attractive, some locals as well there, and walking along the beachfront walkway.

    Quepos Info.

The cheap hotel that I was talking about below around the corner from the Best Western is the same as noted below.......the Malinche Hotel......which is very Chica friendly....no extra charge....while the Best Western is less Chica friendly....not exactly sure on their policies though as I have never stayed at (the Best Western)

The son of the owner speaks perfect English and is in the fishing business.
He has a small fishing brokerage office right next to the hotel.

His young wife is the manager of the hotel Malinche. She is pretty young with a young son who hangs around the hotel tended by a nanny.

This little gal (can not remember her name) speaks passable English, and when I stayed there in 2007.....I asked her about some working gals.....she told me what she knew....and then actually fixed me up with a friend of hers who came by the hotel later for a session with me.

Look for gals who set on the park benches or on the benches in fromt and across the street from the beach where the boats are....you cant miss it......

There was to be a brand new marina here.....out in front of the Best Western hotel.....but I believe they are or have had some problems getting their financing in order to build it....so it may or may not be completed.

But you can walk around the whole town in perhaps 30 minutes or so...it is small.
If you need some transportation....my last trip I rented a motor scooter from Fast Eddie......a moto dealer there in town. Buses are good too, ....especially coming and going from Manual Antonio.

Good luck fishing........it´s a good place to fish.......

The son of the hotel owner above......I think he has a brand new large boat, and will take guys out on charter fishing trips. It is not cheap to charter a boat....but worthwhile if perhaps 2 or 3 guys can go together to pay for the boat.

The Malinche hotel is not bad at all for $ 20 to 25.00....that room has a large fan, but for about $ 15.00 you can get an airconditioned room in the newer section of the hotel.

I had forgotten the name of the hotel we are talking about but my fellow board member below has supplied that along with some more detailed info about Quepos.

And I spent 30 days in Quepos.....so had a chance to really check things out there.....and contrary to what he is saying below......I found perhaps about 8 to 10 or more gals working the P4P scene in Quepos.

There are also a couple of night clubs with gals....but I visited both of those and they are very expensive for sessions with the girls on site....maybe you could visit them....have a couple of drinks....chat with the ladies, and then make an after hours date for them to drop by your hotel.

Again....you can get laid in Quepos......but it is not just as easy there as it is in San Jose for example....but rember that Quepos is a very small town...and most gals wanting to get into the P4P game on a serious note....would hop onto a bus and go to either Jaco Beach or San Jose to éarn a living in the P4P game.

The other 2 guys on my boat each got at least 1 Dorado and one Sail Fish. We could have easily caught 10-12 sail fish on our boat if we hadn't come across a big smart bottlenose dolphin that kept taking the live bait off of our lines and was driving the mate on our boat crazy.

A great restaurant on the road up to Manuel Antonio that will prepare your catch (Dorado in my case, as the sail fish are catch and release) superbly and inexpensively is Mar Luna.

I didn't see any streetwalkers in Quepos that I'd actually pay to fuck. I stayed in the Malinche for $25 a night, around the corner from the Best Western. It was adequate for dirt cheap. I've also stayed in nicer places on the road to Manuel Antonio. Malinche is good for one night when you want to just roll out of bed and walk to the fishing pier early in the AM. For several days, I'd go for one of the numerous much nicer places near the entrance to Manuel Antonio.

I was in Quepos last year for about 4 days.

I rented a 3 bedroom house for about $100 a day. Great investment.

Cooked all meals in the large kitchen.

    Quepos

I spent 30 days in Quepos about a year a a half ago.

There are 2 to 3 brokers in town that set up fishing trips. They are building a brand new marina there....but not sure if its finished or not.

Probably the best hotel in Quepos is the Best Western....going for about $ 50 to 60 a night.

You can stay at cheaper hotels though....and there is one around the corner from the Best Western for $ 20.00 where I have stayed. Its OK for the price.

There are also some good hotels out towards Manual Antonio Beach......about 6 miles from Quepos. Some are real up scale and fairly expensive.

Fishing should be pretty good in Quepos.

There are a few places to find P4P gals in Quepos. I would check out Whacky Wandas Bar and the bar next to it. There are also several streetwalkers who are working the Quepos scene.

I would not call Quepos a mongering destination of note....but you can get laid there if you look and ask around.

The bus to Quepos goes from San Jose through Jaco Beach then on to Quepos.....perhaps a trip of around 5 hours,,,,,give or take.

Nature Air also served Quepos out of a small airport in San Jose......not the international airport. I believe they have one flight per day into Quepos....that would shorten your trip.

You can also take Greyline or Interbus......mini buses with air conditioning from San Jose to Quepos.

Make sure you go on out to Manual Antonio beach....in my opinion it is perhaps the most pristine and beautiful beach in all of Central America.

Are the hotels quiet? Any good action in Quepos or would you recommend another beach town? Are the girls from Los Pescadores fun?

    Many thanks.
    Thanks Lucky 13,

My wingman and I are staying in San Joseé at the Zona Blue for three nights in mid April. We want to stay at a beach, not too far from San José, for 2-3 nights, then return to San José a day or so before our return flight. I was thinking either Quepos on the Pacific or Playa Cocles on the Atlantic. Are the beaches on Quepos nice? Are the girls pretty? I've been to Jacó and wish to try something different.

    Thanks again for your help.

    Best option in Quepos?

    Hi,

Going to be in MA next month and was wondering what the best option for mongering (if any) is for during the day? I can only escape for a little while during the day and really won't even have a room for that time. I am probably SOL, I know there are better options but thats all I have so I figured I would ask! Any options near MA (doesn't have to be Quepos) would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance!

Quepos is not what it used to be. In years past, it was crawling with Ticas. We were just their 2 weeks ago and wished we had imported some in with us from San Jose. 7 days in Manuel Antonio/Quepos was hard for me being a fellow monger. I could not wait to get back to San Jose!

  15. #68

    Little time

Not in Quepos--some action downtown at night at bar next to Wanda's.

Only hope would be Jaco, 1 hr north, and that may be hard if you can't go out at least 1 night and make arrangements or daytime stuff.
