When is the best time to go to CR weather wise? Does the rain get in the way of mongering?

I was thinking of staying at La Amistad in July or August.

Anyone been to the Pirate Club lately? Heard it is a pretty nice place these days and was going to be in CR in Feb and wanted to see if I should add it to the agenda?

Mr Jetsetter is right; the place can be hit or miss. Price if I remember correctly is $35 for a half hour and $50 for the hour. The rooms are nice but the beds suck, squeak, squeak, squeak, something terrible. Take a look at the photo session I posted a photo of a pirate's club chica from my August trip. Super wild in the room, my last trip in November they had a cute little 18 year old working there slightly plump but had smooth skinned tinder breasted 18 year old girl look to her. I was there last March with Mr. Jetsetter and there was a super-hot Puerto Rican girl working there who up in the room offered up her culo and did all three inputs all natural for a total of cien.

Friday nights they have lesbian shows on the bar, the place is owned by an American from North Carolina I believe the majority of the customers are local ticos but I have always felt welcomed there. It does get slow at times when there is hardly anyone there and the girls all look board.

Haven't been to the Pirate Club or anywhere else in CR for over 6 months, but I'd recommend checking it out whether you hear from anyone else on this board or not. I've had some good luck there in the past. Like any place, it can be "hit or miss."

Are most guys visiting San Jose this year (and in the foreseeable future) no longer doing side trips to Jaco? Is it no longer worth it anymore getting out to Jaco?

I don't know about anyone else, but Jaco was the highlight of my trip. I went to CR for 5 days in October. Stayed at Cocal hotel and casino. Hotel Cocal is crazy on Friday and Saturday nights, and worthwhile on any other night, in my opinion. Like fishing in a goldfish bowl. Anybody with $50-$80 can fish for an hour.

I will be in Costa rica san hose from DEC 11 to 17. I will be staying at morazon and hunting chicas mostly at del rey.

I am 29 years old. I have been to CR twice before.

A lot of Asian-Americans visit Costa Rica, and I've met quite a few girls who prefer them. Try not to get offended when even after telling them what country you are from they still call you "Chino".

I had that in Costa Rica as well as my recent trip to Dominican Rep. It's the way they communicate and they don't mean any offence at all. Even had a middle age guy working in a hotel who extended his hand to me and asked "Hola Chino, how is your vacation so far?"

Hey Dave: I replied to you on CRT but for the benefit of ISGers who have your same question, I'm reposting my response here:

I was there the day after Thanksgiving for a week two years ago and had a great time. No different than a normal day and night. Sometimes more gringos are in town since things are slow in the states. Lots of great chicas to choose from. You will find what you are looking for in the Del Rey. Less Colombianas lately I believe due to immigration raids but still enough of them there, although they are not my cup of tea when in CR. Try some of the Tico strip clubs like Pantera Rosa, Grillon, and Alcasar, where you will find a good mix for less. Have fun.

You should be able to get by without speaking Spanish in San Jose, but the more you can learn before your trip the better.

The free-lancers will eat you alive at the Del Rey and other places-Don't tell them its your first time-or how long youj'll be there-Less info the better off you are. I don't do freelancers anymore-going to the MP's are a safe bet-they will tell you upfront the price-I NEVER had a problem with them-Freelancers are a different story-its the luck of the draw-GOOD LUCK
