I've been watching Cuba Dave's videos on which hotel to stay in as well as the posts in this forum. For newbies. To which I am one although I have been to Sosua a couple of times as well. If you're thinking of staying in the Del Rey, I called this morning and they charge $65 for a standard room which includes the 13% room tax or whatever they call it. If you want to bring a chica add $11 for each girl at a maximum of two. For you veterans, maybe you can bring more chicas but that's what the reservation lady told me. More than two might be too much to handle anyways, it would be for me!

I'm leaning towards the Del Rey because I'll only be in SJ 3-4 nights. I have a couple of questions I hope one of the vets can help me with. What is the website address or contact number to call Scores? I've looked online and can't find it. Do you agree with Cuba Dave about staying at Scores or is the Del Rey the best bet? Also, can you buy Viagra at a pharmacy there and is it any good? If not, where do you suggest one buys it? Thanks.

Agree with Warthog, for being relatively new for SJO standards, staying at HDR takes a lot of the guess work out of your stay. Have to question why the need to buy viagra in-country when you can buy it cheaper here and take it with you. I buy Cialis in bulk through Topills and get delivery in three weeks or less. Never had an issue, no Rx needed for see or V. Don't buy it on the street outside the Del Rey; don't buy anything on the street outside the HDR for that matter.

I've stayed at HDR 4 times so far in 2014, and have no problem with it. I've been to the other places, and, definitely, Del Rey is Ground Zero for activities, way better than all of the others combined. But, mainly, the girls like it better if you are staying at HDR, as they can go quickly upstairs to do their business and then get back downstairs to continue their rounds. Also, once in a discussion with a chica, if you have to go to another hotel, this can be an obstacle (particularly if it is raining!)- the negotiation is smoother if you are staying upstairs.

This will be my second trip to SJ but my first since 2006 so it's been awhile. Really looking forward to the action and hopefully having a drink with one of you when I get there in mid December, that's the plan.

I like Cuba Dave's suggestion of staying at Scores sports bar because at $45-50, it's a great price and apparently it's also close to the Del Rey where most of the action still seems to be (I didn't stay there the first time in SJ). I know her as Brandy. Definitely a very nice person. If I remember correctly, she speaks very good English. Gives an amazing deep throat bbj. Other than the BJ, two things I remember most about her: 1. She is trained as a CSI investigator and just waiting for the employment spot to open up. 2. She was glad I paid the upcharge for the bbj since she does not like the taste of latex. It was a very good session.

I found no problems with the rooms at Scores. I've only heard one complaint. It might get noisy if the other guests are inconsiderate. However, I stayed at Sleep Inn on my last visit in June. The chica fee is high at $25,but the accommodations were great. The rooms at Scores are new, comfortable, and clean.

I also sessioned with another girl at Scores, Maritza. She too was a good performer, very pretty, excellent GFE and the room they gave us was considerably comfortable. Both rooms had air conditioning something I didn't find at other MP.
