My buddy Nico and I arrived late on Tuesday night. We didn't realized that the airport was 31 miles away from SS. We were trying to negotiate with a taxi driver when a fellow passenger who also lives in Houston came to help us. He was born in El Salvador but emigrated to the USA as a child. He then told us that he had rented a car and was going to SS. He was nice enough to drop us at our hotel without asking for anything. I gave him $20 to pay for the gas. BTW, I think the airport taxi wanted $40.

The next day (Friday) our hotel was able to find us an English-speaking taxi driver to take us on a city tour for about five hours. He name is Julio and gave us a great price at $10 per hour. He was also very knowledgeable about our hobby. Julio lived in New York twice, as a child with his parents to escape the Civil War in the 1980's, then as an adult in the early 2000's. Apparently he didn't like New York and returned to El Salvador. PM me if you want his phone number.

I was too exhausted after the tour (which also involved a lot of walking, especially in Centro Historico) so I asked to be dropped at the hotel. Nico (who's about 25 years younger than me) asked Julio to take him to Kiss Fresh and several bars.

Nico took me back to Kiss Fresh yesterday at 10:30 AM (apparently they open at 10 AM). We were the only customers. There were about 8 girls putting on makeup. No one seemed to be in a hurry. Nico met Luna on Friday and liked her but she was with another client. So Nico wanted to book her but she did not arrive until 11:30. I will arrive is SS tomorrow night, staying for a week. Just want to double-check: El Salvador does not require travelers to take a Covid test, right? We only need to show our Vaccination Card?

I will probably have to take a Covid test before returning to the USA. Any suggestion on how to do that inexpensively? When I was in Tampico last week, a Lab company came to my hotel and administer the test 2 days before my return.

I had fun in El Salvador as I was stationed there for 2 years with the Navy. I always went to Lips, Kiss Fresh, and club Zou. Any taxi driver knows Lips and Kiss Fresh. Have fun! For Hotels I always rented using Airbnb, although i liked the Marriott and the Sheraton a lot. The Visa part costs you like 10 dlls at the airport and customs sells them to you, just be sure to have your vaccine card or a valid covid test or they wont let you board the plane for el salavdor, PRC test is needed. I will be headed down in November as i have family there.

I will be reading this thread in the next several days to get a feel of the mongering situation. If we don't get to play, it's okay. We know that San Salvador has a rich history and we would be just fine playing tourists and eating local foods.

I have two important question:

Do USA citizens need to get a visa to enter El Salvador? If yes, is there Visa on Demand at the airport?

Which part of the City is the place to stay (decent girl-friendly hotels)? I read from the internet that Districts 1, 2 and 3 are the tourist places.

Lips sucks now based on several fairly recent reports, including yours, and was significantly better back in the day when you and I first attended. I did a report of my LIps experiences several years ago and the private dances back then were memorable to say the least. Now, I think it's just a come on bordering on a scam.

Walked into the Mansion early in the afternoon on a Tuesday and was the only client there. The line up included 12 ladies. I wouldn't nail any one of the first 11 for free.
