Posts: 362Central American Confederation
Up until 1848, Central America was considered a confederation of five semi-independent "departments". These were Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua and Costa Rica. You are correct ... up until Panama's independence with the US acquisition of the canal zone (I think somewhere around 1913), prior to then Panama was a province of Colombia. After a couple of beers, and before "working the deal", discuss this history with any cutie working girl in CenAm. I am certain they will all be impressed with your knowledge of their world. Yeah .... right! If you can find a young lady that even remotely knows this stuff ... then you can be truly impressed.

Check your history books and you will find that you are both correct. Why? Technically, Panama is not part of Central America.

I dont want to add anything negative just that the majority of people from el salvador are really kind and look out for you. Make sure you do the same for them.
I was pleasantly surprised at how well everything funcitons. The buses run on time the food comes very shortly etc. etc.
If anything is to be said about el salvador it is that they are probably the most developed country in central america. Way better than costa rica from my experiences.
Crime is what to be careful of...just use your head and you'll be fine.

Any reference to "poor central america city" is highly offensive. An appology would be in order. Maybe then others here in San Salvador would be willing to help you some.
If you think of San Salvador as a "poor city" and you are in for the cheap, I would suggest that you save the travel expenses and visit Los Angeles. Don't ever come down with the idea that you are better and want to exploit some poor SW or WG. You will get hurt real quickly if you take that attitude. Nuf said.
San Salvador has lots of places that accomodate every taste. It all depends on what you want.

A couple of weeks ago I went to Kiss Fresh for my first time and found it totally charming. I liked the ambiance, there were quite a few cute girls, the price was great, and I just enjoyed the overall experience. I will go back every opportunity I can …… when it is before 7:00 in the evening.
If I have to work late, or need to meet someone for drinks or dinner, then I cannot get to Kiss Fresh before 7:00 and basically I am screwed. Well … in this case … I am NOT screwed! So, where is a place in San Salvador that is fairly similar to Kiss Fresh, but is open later in the evening? I have gone through the threads herein back to January 1st (I figure anything much over a year old tends not to be very accurate on these Central American threads) and this is what I have determined ……
Connections, Tio Sam's, Blue Club Bar and Cocktails & Dreams all seem like decent options. But they are a bit pricier. They are in that $40/30 minutes. I really prefer KF pricing at something around $20-$30/45+ minutes.
What about the club called Topless? Any further information?
The newly mentioned place called Casa Keyson sounds kind of interesting, even if it is only open until 9:00 pm. The pricing looks promising. Can anyone give more information on the place and the exact directions? Maybe a phone number, or something I can give to a taxista to help find the place?
If you had an evening or two in San Salvador, where would you go, and why?

It is kind of complicated. Give the cabbie the phone numbers below and he can work it directly with the house!

Enjoyed a lunch break at Okoles. Not bad. Not great. The girls do sit and ignore you until you pick one out. I had read that previously in this forum, but it feels weird the first time. Prices are reasonable. Place is not as clean or upscale as Kishfresh. Now I understand the popularity of the latter. Picked out a cute one with tits as hard as softballs (she claims they are natural. I have my doubts). Name was Sofia. Good service.

You can get what you want for $50-60 TLN w/ SW and some WG, but I don't hink we consider ourselves in San Salvador within a "poor CA city". We run the gammit from poor...DON'T GO THERE...sections to wealthy ones, and everything in between.

Are the prices here really only $20-$30? Can someone give detailed directions to Casa Keyson so that a taxistsa can find the place?
