I just got back this morning from Guate. What a trip. I chickened out in my plan to hit the "Bars" in the aldeas. I drove past a bar in Zacapa and took a look at what they had to offer, then decided to just wait until I returned to the Capital.

I browsed the "Masajes" ads in the Prensa and found a number for a place in Zona 10 close the the Proceres. I found the place after about an hour of searching. If you are not familiar with the Spanish street numbering system, it's a good idea to get a map and learn the system or you will spend hours looking for an address.

la linea is a unique place. if you are near guatemala city, it is worth visiting for the experience. there is enough variety that you can find what you want.

looks: if you need a 9-1/2 to 10, don't come to la linea. but there are a few beautiful ladies and some adorable and / or cute ones.

la linea is an area of prostitution characterized by a series of adjacent rooms along an abandoned railroad track (line). la linea is in zona 1 of guatemala city and runs along the railroad track north of 10a calle between 13/14 avenida and 15 avenida. for a landmark, it is just across the street at the east end of the edeficio central de la pnc (the national civil police central building) on 10a calle. (by the way some of the pnc are good looking ladies and they look sexy in those black uniforms.)

the numerous doorways on the buildings along la linea usually lead to a small room where the ladies practice their trade. sometimes the doorway opens to a small hallway at the end of which there is a courtyard surrounded by rooms. for the ladies, there is an advantage to the courtyard arrangement. there is running water for them to take a shower.

i am guessing that there are 200 rooms with about 50% of them in use at any time during peak working hours (9:00a – 5:00p). i have seen ladies working at 6:00a. i don't know when most of the ladies go home, but i would not go to la linea after dark.
