I keep hearing about how you need to be careful in Guatemala. I'm trying to figure out is it worse than Brazil. Or should I say, I know how to take care of myself and be cautious of people and my surroundings; but is there something extra about Guatemala I'm missing as far as safety would go?

See many guards everywhere with guns in Guat City? Guy with what looks like machine gun guarding door to enter a MacDonald's? IS there anything to be deduced from this?

Gentlemen, I have spent some time over the past three months in Guatemala City. I have been using Civid's excellent list. Here are some observations.

The first time I visited in May they had 5 girls. The last two times only one girl each time. The place looked to be in financial distress.

For starters I have to thank all contributors for all their info. That's what makes this forum so great.

I arrived here yesterday, been perusing the forum a few days before which is typical.

Airport taxi to Holiday Inn was Q60, I was expecting Q80 as previously mentioned. I did not exchange at the airport, I never do. I commonly have left over currency from previous trips which is what I use to get me started in any given country. When it's a first in a country, I cordially ask the driver to stop by a major bank ATM in an open area. This cabbie did, no extra charge and I was able to pay him in Quetzales. If they seem hesitant, I simply tell them that I do not currently have currency and the only other option is for him to wait for me to check in in order to get his money. They don't want that, so they swing by the ATM.


Checked in the Holiday Inn, not my preference of property as I've had multiple bad experiences in Holiday Inn's, although the HI Express is much better. My flight was booked the day before and the HI has a 1day cancellation policy, so I'm stuck here and it's not worth checking out, my flight leaves tomorrow.

Went to Leclub last night, seen one strip club seen 'em all. When I walked in, i was told there was a Q120 cover. I am from Puerto Rico and speak spanish better than English, the guy still had the nerve to try to jack me for Q120. I asked him since when was there a cover and he stuttered "about a month ago". I saiid well I ain't paying a cover and headed back to the door and he quickly changed his stance telling the other guy, he's good, he's been here before. Be careful, there is no cover at LeClub. I had mixed feelings in terms of the quality of girls. For starters there were more chicks than dicks when I walked in. Most of them piled up at the entrance, bad move for business. I am not gonna stand there evaluating them all, as they all stare at me to see if I like one. So I proceeded inside, grabbed a table and the swarm began. I grabbed one waiter ordered a beer, tipped him and told him that I'd call him when I was ready for another. He did well, kept the others off of me as much as he could and there were no worries. 2 hondureñas sat next to me, one was a cutie and the other wasn't ugly but I found myself leaning to the other one first. Gemma and Dayana are the names, funny she didn't pronounce it Diana, it was Dayana. Eventually got them both a drink but as a newb, didn't know that at 11 they have this parade of chicks and they sat next to me at 10:45. No dances for my drinks, just some gropes from Gemma. Stayed 2 more hours absorbing the environment. Most girls were as I expected, the slouching ass, that's when the back stands out more than the ass and no waist, it's just a staight line from shoulders to ankles. None of this 90-60-90 shapes going on. There were 2 that looked like they naturally had cute asses and about 10, which coincidentally where the hottest ones in the club, had asses and tits injected. Some of them so obvious that they almost looked deformed. Iam not trying to put any of them down, alot of them were cute. Just making an honest non biased observation of my findings. There was one chick that must have been a dude previously, the body was just tooooooooo manly including the face. I need to have a much more personal experience in order for me to partake, I have considered the massage houses. The pics I have seen on the local sites weren't very promising and I am a very visual person. Chemistry and all that other jive goes out the window if I don't find the girl appealing. My problem is that I am spoiled, the caribbean latin girls (PR, DR and Cuba) for the most part have the a waist and an ass that I am attracted to. So I may check out the lineup at a few of them or just go to a mall and observe there, maybe find me a non pro willing to play.

I will be going to Guatemala city, with plans to see other parts of the country also, and Was wondering about a lot of the previous mentioned clubs etc, etc. Could anyone tell me if a lot of the places mentioned throughout the this thread are still active. I seen the list by Civid and plan to put it to use (thanks Civid). Also, are there girls working the streets in certain areas? And if so are they worth giving trying out (of course after conversing and making a judgment call). This is my first trip to Guatemala and I will be there for a few days. A kind of recon type trip. I want to have a good time with some ladies as well as see the sites. I've heard good and bad things about this place. I figured the best way to find out about it is to go; besides the ticket came out to be cheap and that sealed the deal for me. All and any advice is greatly appreciated.

Problem with seeing chica outside of the Club:
You can't go to that club and spend time with another chica without causing a ton of drama. So Club is off visiting list for time being.

Problem with seeing two (or more) chicas from Clubs:
The only day they have off is Sunday, and they both want to see you on that day and both want to spend the night with you.

My new favorite club is The Gentlemans Club (at least for the next week or two - lol). I hadn't been there for several months and recently decided to stop back by and see how it is. Nice place, a few meters away from Club Venus, the latter being a well known spot by all taxi drivers. It cost 50 Q each way from the Intercontinental by using the hotel taxi. It is worth it, taxis in Gua are reportedly unreliable, especially the white ones. I was asking on my way to there to be picked up within 1. 5 hours. Never failed.

Good value for money, 500 Q per hour, no pressure to buy drinks. Very simple, a bar and a few girls hanging around looking for customers.

I have been twice with one of the girls and a third time with another one. The latter is easy to find, big boobs, sits quietly in a corner of the bar. She is not the youngest, but she knows her job well.

The first is also pleasant, flirty, and overall accomodating enough. I had a good time with both of them.

Both girls were open to BBBJ, although in both cases oral skills were not top notch. Rooms are simple, do not expect luxury.

The place closes at 0100, as all places in Gua.

Compared to 600 per half hour of many other places, Casa Blanca is best bang for buck, and it is a place where you can actually relax.

There are always a few girls walking around the IC. I tried Karen on Sunday night, and it was disappointing.

All her skills are in marketing. She solicits people walking around and gives away handwritten notes with telephone number. She says she can also procure other girls if requested.

Her initial offer was 800 Q, went down to 500 and then to 400. Accepted and went to the room. Payment upfront, but bj not included, wanted additional 100... a classic bait and switch...

Performance was poor, rushed and impersonal. My expectations were low anyway, as they always are with SWs.

As during Sundays most places are closed, she and her colleagues represent an easy option, but all things considered I guess it would be better to go elsewhere - there are a few other places open on Sunday. I think you would get better service there.

Concerning gf hotels, IC charges 15 US$ for visitor. According to Karen, other places charge more, up to 60 US$. Her words, for what they are worth.

I interviewed yesterday another girl hanging around, short, a bit chubby, black hair. She was offering as well 400 Q services, all included. Mind you, the all included does not include anal...

Told her that Karen has spoiled the business for what I am concerned.

She however told me that business is going very poorely. They target foreign customers, and there are not many of them.

Also my adventures in casa blanca and in one of the casas seems to confirm that the overall business is really slow.

Concerning security, zona 10 is ok, but the rest of the city can be tricky. I was told that last year there were 6000 casualties deriving from robberies and assaults. Lots of weapons around.

Also, the situation might get soon much worse. Mexican drug cartels are moving their operations to Gua, and colleagues have reported they expect a further rise in violence.

I never felt threatened, but I went by car on the outskirts of the city - there you see the real Gua, and it is quite impressive.

So, my recommendation is to avoid SW at the IC and to go around safe. Risk level is overall high, so I would not take any chances if I were in you.

Despite the above, Gua has much to offer. Betweeen clubs and casas, there are plenty of opportunities and for a reasonable price. For those interested, both Cialis and Viagra are free sales in Gua, no need for a prescription.

Civid has been very helpful, also by PM.

On this note, I would like to invite those who do not have a subscription to make one. The possibility to contact directly another member is worth much more than the few bucks for Jackson's hard work.

Unfortunately, Le Club has raised its prices from 600Q to 800Q for 45 mins with chica. So it is now basically $100, add to that 1 or 2 drinks at $10 a pop and you're talking serious money. Getting too expensive there! I guess they have to pay for all the breast implants and hair extensions some way.

I like the place, but won't be frequenting as often as I used too. Plenty of other options in the city at lower prices.
