I was in West End the week before Easter (santa semana) and the town rocked. It is the biggest tourist week of the year for them and the bars were packed. It was pretty easy to pick out pros in the crowd. At one point I had a pimp approach me at the bar and offer me the choice of any of the 5 girls with him. I wound up befriending a really hot local latina who unfortunately had morals so not much play. I had a really good time going out to the bars with her every night and all it cost me was drinks so no real regrets.

Sorry to be too late to help you with this report Aguinnes, but for anyone else planning a visit to Roatan, previous reports about "The Pink Frog" house of ill-repute are still viable. Several months ago while in-town the morning of our ship's port-call, I followed the advice provided in this thread from a couple of years ago. Just as stated, when you exit the gates of the port-terminal, turn right. Continue walking on the same side of the road the terminal is on. Less than a mile down the road you will see a "blade-sign" that says "frog". It sticks out from the facade of the building. (Washed-out key-lime yellow colored building) The building is a shack which houses a circular wooden bar on the street-level. Behind the building (below-street-level) is where the girls congregate, waiting for benefactors to arrive. On my morning recon-walk, I spotted the sign and knew I found my piece of paradise. On the far-side of the building is a driveway which leads to the back of the property and the girls which hang out on a couple of picnic tables so as to not be easily-spotted from the street. That's where I found her. My sweet little Jessica. She told me she was 24, but didn't look a day over 20. She also said she had three kids to feed with no daddy in sight. Indian-complexion, but ALL Latina in attitude and performance. Beautiful curly long black hair which framed her cheerful face, bright eyes and pretty smile. Although her English was about as good as my Spanish, once we got down to business, it was smooth-sailing. Very accommodating and willing to please except for DATY. For some reason she would not allow any attention offered down there.

Donation to her children's college fund was a total of 50 clams which did not include the rental-fee to the house of ten more scallops. I have her digits but unfortunately, unless you contact me over on my USASG account through the PM service, you're on you own fellas.

While there were an easy 10 women there, only three including Jessie were above a 5 in appearance, with Jessica being a solid 8 if you like tight-bodied spinners. The other two were 5-6 on appearance and only one of those appeared interested in receiving any donations for her personal charity. The rest were ugly, unkept or simply of the appearance of being warn-out a long time ago.

In addition to The Pink Frog, I found another place further down the road (same side of the street) called 'Seamen's Club'. It was closed at the time of the morning I was on recon, but what I found most-interesting was that it appeared to be a REAL bordello, with dance-club / lounge on the street-level and a bunch of bedrooms upstairs. It had the appearance of being abandoned from the sidewalk, but when I took a couple of steps down into the first-level of the building's outside walkway, I noticed several women (none of which were appealing to me) checking me out. Since I had already had my fun, I simply turned around and headed back to the terminal.

Lastly, I want to be clear; there are a lot of women out on the streets of Roatan working these days, because according to my personal guide 'William' things are bad on the island since 2008, and have gotten worse since I last saw him three years ago. These women have mouths to feed at home, and hope to land a gringo-diver who plans to be in-town for a week, and all too-willing to part with some of his green in order to have something waiting for him when he gets off the dive-boat every day. In return for being his little doll, she gets wined and dined at night, and sent home to take care of the kids with more than just a Jackson every morning. So you see, everything seems to have a way of working out.

I will be in Roatan in 2 weeks staying in West End. I was there about 4 years ago and there were girls working the street and bars in town. If anyone has been there recently do they know what the current going rate is? I will post a report when I return.

Sorry, been reading the recent Honduras posts. Utilla is MUCH BETTER than Roatan for our strategies including p4p and free young trim. Roatan is a wealthier, OLDER island where the p4p is usually uglier locals. Utilla has so many horny Scandis, Germans etc on holidays for the cheap diving etc. It is a complete party island. Check out The Pirates Bar in the center of town on the 3rd floor next to the wharf and the Bar in The Bush. I lived in Honduras for some time in San Pedro Sula, Utilla and Roatan. Roatan is 2/10 mongering, SPS is 3/10 and Utilla is a 7 or 8/10. Just hit up everything you see and be nice. The party revolves from one bar to the next the next night. Just ask at a shop where the hot place is THAT night and "Bob's your uncle". All is good in the world

Just returned from 7 days of diving in Roatan. Don't have much to offer but will provide this update since there are so few postings here.

I went there to scuba dive and it was truly fabulous in every way. Didn't really plan on mongering but figured if it popped up I might give it a try. I was staying in West End, a small town on the (of course!) west end of the island, although there was a town called West Bay that is even farther to the west, right at the very west tip of the island. Roads from the airport in Coxen Hole to West End and West Bay are pretty bad, this whole place is a lot more third world than I thought. There is a fleet of water taxies, small boats, that can take you back and forth from West End to West Bay for 50 limpiras, about $2. 50 each way, a great way to go.

I stayed in a rather dumpy hotel called Casa del Sol, close to the dive shop and only 40 bucks a night (55 with A / C). More like a backpackers' hostel, pretty basic to say the least. Don't think I would recommend it unless you're pretty hardcore. There are definitely nicer places in West End, although I suspect they are all a bit third world, and the best resorts are over at West Bay. The West Bay Beach is a lot nicer, too.

Several evenings (not all) I noticed small groups or single women here and there who appeared to be out "working" on the main drag of West End. Usually not until after 9 pm or so. Some were cute, nothing fabulous, but doable if you've been to Costa Rica or the Dominican Republic. I chatted with a few in my broken Spanish and they were offering 50 bucks for an hour session. Some the same price for two hours. I just had a kind of gut feeling that something was amiss, and since my hotel had absolutely NO security and no safes in the room, I declined. Had a feeling it could turn ugly and I could get robbed or involved in some kind of scam geared towards tourists like myself. No evidence for that, just a gut feeling and I alwasys trust my gut feelings in places like this. (plus I really came here just to dive).

So overall, I would say go to Roatan to dive, not monger, but there are a few girls available in West End late in the evening; I can't provide any info on the experiences since I never tried it. I never spent any time in Coxan Hole, which is where the airport and the cruise ship port is, so no info to add there either.

Brothel is nice, don't have to worry about a hotel and can bring only the cash. $50 is not bad for a whole hour, that's as good as russia. I wonder if you get the whole hour then?

The girls are all on the main drag in West End after about nine. Prices around 60US. Some bars don't allow them in. Pickings are best on fri sat night. They will know a love hotel at minimal bucks if you don't want to take them back to your place. Of course, secure all valuables.

Yep. If there's something in Coxen Hole you have to pass close by it. The Roatan airport(RTB) is near Coxen Hole.

It's also where the ferry from La Ceiba docks.
