TBH, I didn't understand your question completely. Condom will have a reservoir-tip to collect the ejaculated semen. While wearing a condom, one should pinch the tip gently using forefinger and thumb to avoid formation of any air-bubble which can potentially cause burst/breakage. After ejaculation, obviously the semen would be collected/accumulated in the reservoir-tip. As I mentioned in beginning of the note, I didn't understand your question completely.

Thanks, just have one more question. I'm a complete noob at this but are condoms supposed to hang from he tip after I ejaculate? After ejaculating I could feel the something heavy hang from the tip of the condom, this does not mean it broke right?

Went through a list of STD test and came through clean. How ever cost was whopping 13.5 k for the test. I went through tests given by a prominent sexologist in a well known lab.

We need some knowledge base in this areas. List of tests, labs where we can get good tests done and anonymously and not at too much cost.

Pointers in this area are welcome.

13 k is too high. Recently heard a friend saying around 3 k for more important tests in Delhi.

I am not a doc to comment on this. But sometime back read a useful post in Bangalore thread, they suggest STD panel at Dr lalpath costing just 2.8 k. It seems useful. Anyways kudos to you come out clean.

Actually I was wondering why they charge 13 k actually sexually transmitted disease we have to worry about is Hepatitis B (50 Rupees), Hepatitis C (100 Rupees), HIV (200 Rupees) and syphilis (50 Rupees) it usually cost you around Max 300-400 rupees including lab charges and these are main concern because these will have the major consequences of affecting life. Other test include herpes, chlamydia, Gonorrhea these test done to avoid spread of infection it's also usually around (700-800 rupees). It's good to check around 6 months once if your sexually active person.

I'm unsure in which lab you got tested in Chennai, 13.5K is really costly. You may refer to my earlier posts during last year-end in Bangalore forum, I usually get tested through Dcotor Sfae. In-fact, their affiliated lab in Koramangala, Bangalore has Head-office / reference-lab in Chennai which does back-end processing for majority of the hospitals in Chennai and it is NABL accredited. By doing online payment, STD Panel costed me 3.9K through the aforementioned portal, which includes separate tests for HSV-I & HSV-II. Alternatively, you can also get tested at Lalaji's pathology lab where basic STD panel costs 2.8K and they provide combo result for HSV-I&II. Both of these labs provide privacy by online reports. I simply furnish my mongering name, phone and e-mail while registering and signing HIV consent form.

Note:- I'm neither personally, nor commercially involved / engaged with any of the above mentioned portal or diagnostic center chain. I absolutely don't have any commercial motive here.

30 days is a decent window-time (except rare cases) to get tested for Antibodies, however, 90 days is good-enough time-window to be really 100% sure. Lalaji's Pathology labs' STD Panel test costs INR 2.8K across India, it usually includes combination of HIV-I&II Antibodies plus fourth generation P24 Antigen test. You can also get tested for fourth generation P24 Antigen alone. Across all franchises of Lalaji's lab, one need to sign HIV consent form prior to giving blood sample.

From your posts, I presume you have recently joined this forum and new to this hobby(correct me, otherwise). Unless you had any unprotected sex or any high-risk exposure due to broken or slipped condom, you need not worry much.

30 days is an adequate window-time (except rare cases) to get tested for Antibodies, however, for Antibodies tests, 90 days or 180 days is good window-time to be really sure. If you really want to know the status after 4 weeks of the latest exposure, PCR is more effective test, it directly looks for virus, but it is expensive.

Lalaji's Pathology labs' STD Panel test costs INR 2.8K across India, it usually includes combination of HIV-I&II Antibodies plus fourth generation P24 Antigen test or you can also get tested for fourth generation P24 Antigen alone.
